So…. I know that the best thing would be to go to the post office and have them weigh my invitation package and see how much I need for postage, which I will do… but… Can I mail my invitations with (2) forever stamps? I will have One envelope, a 110 lb paper invitation, a 100 lb 4 bar RSVP card, a 4 bar envelope, and one more 4 bar envelope with 2 4 bar sized peices of text paper with directions and accommodations info inside. This will likely be wrapped with a belly band (or something to that degree).
Our colors are pink and turquoise, and since I.love.cherry.blossoms. this new forever stamp is perfect for us. Also, I love how the 2 stamps fit together to create a scene, and that the long style of the stamp will mimic our wrap around address labels. 🙂
Anybody else love it? And can I use forever stamps for invitations AND rsvps?

@multinational: Beautiful stamps!! I would take a sample invitation to the post office and ask just to make sure.

@multinational: I love this! I’ve seen Bees use this stamp on their invitations and it looks really pretty.

Just FYI – The post office also makes special stamps that are like 1.5x regular postage so that people don’t have to pay more than they need in postage. We ordered one of their wedding series in the .65 (ish) denomination. If you don’t have many invitations to send and can spend the money for two forever stamps per invitation, I think the cherry blossoms are a beautiful idea. If, however, you’re on a tight budget, don’t forget about the 65cent postage.
