I'm definitely not an expert, and I assume that you aren't going to a gym?? Hav eyou ever tried wall push ups?? Definitely not as hard as a regular push up, but with the same form, and works well! Invest in some push up handles for the floor after your arms get a little stronger....they help with form and will keep your wrists from hurting! Dumb bell exercises are great, too. Have you ever looked in magazines like Cosmo? They always give exercies for arms, abs, etc.
You need to build muscle. Try weightlifting or body weight exercises, like push ups. That will give you firm arms, not just skinny fat flab!
The Jillian Michael's No More Trouble Zones is really good for arms. Otherwise, honestly, if you're just sitting down, you can have put your arms parallel, with weights, just raise your arms 40 degrees and lower to the beat of music or something. It's simple, but pretty effective.
Do you have an iphone? If so download the Nike Training Club App, it's free and they have targeted workouts with pictures and video on how to do the moves. I've been doing the 15 minute "focused" arm workouts twice a week and my arms are already totally ripped, no jiggle to speak of, and I've only been doing it for like 4-5 weeks. It's all super easy and you focus on the time instead of reps. For instance there will be 5 different workout moves but you do each move for 1 minute, three different times during the course of the 15 minute workout. I love it and it's so convenient at only 15 minutes. They have longer workouts for a variety of fitness levels too but I ususally just do the 15 minute ones because I'm pressed for time. Good luck!
I bought a set of resistance bands & it came with a work out guide. I've been doing that for a few weeks & can see a difference.
Tricep extensions, push ups, assisted pull-ups and dips, bicep curls, overhead press, there's a whole world of exercises. You are looking to work your:
triceps
lats
traps
deltoids
biceps
Shake Weight! I was at Michael's and it was on clearance so I grabbed one. Will let you know if it works. It would probably work better if I could get through the 6 minute workout without laughing hysterically thinking of the South Park episode though.

I am wearing a strapless dress and I want to make sure my arms, shoulders, and back look good! I don't want any flab out the back. I currently do hot yoga 3-4 times a week. I have a couple Jillian Micheals dvds, but I want some suggestions from other bee's on the best ways to tone up! I have less than five months to go!
