How can I say “Cones of rose petals will be given on the way out to toss at the bride and groom” without saying toss at? I think toss at sounds kinda violent, I was just looking for some other wording from you creative bees!

Shower the bride and groom? Sprinkle? Lol. =)

How about something like ‘so that you can help us celebrate becoming husband and wife” — people will know what to do with it!

Thanks I like both of those, My mom had a rough program drafted and that’s what she had on the bottom and it just made me laugh, like they are supposed to hit us with them.. haha

Yup, I’d vote for shower!

How about, “At the end of the service, please take a cone of rose petals so you can shower the bride and groom with them as they exit as husband and wife.”

shower is definitely a better word

Keep it simple. On the program say:
At the conclusion of the ceremony please take rose petals to shower Mary and Nick.
They’ll find the cones and know what to do with them
