No snow storm (today!) here but it is chilly @ 18 degrees :( brrrrr! I'm In Michigan
Can't WAIT to move to Austin!
We are expecting it in AL, but not very much. It will be enough to shut down the city though.
Boone, NC is expecting 10-15 inches of snow! It started falling about an hour ago.
OMG Boone is going to be snoooowwy!!! I almost thought about asking FI to go up to his family's cabin so we could go skiing in boone this weekend, but... I don't want to be stuck there into next week! That would SUCK!
And to think, I was excited about the 1" DC is supposed to get on the tail edge of your storm! Have fun, and stock up on cocoa!
Man, the weather is so screwy this winter. The south is getting a ton of snow, and we in the NE are getting close to nothing.
Ooooh I'm in Virginia and I'm crossing my fingers to get snowed in! We never ever ever get snow in my part of the state and I love it! And if it has to be this cold, it better snow!
I'm in OKC and it's still snowing here! We got a bunch of ice yesterday and today it's been snowing since I got up. Going to be snowed in for a while, and we've got people crashing here because we're one of the few in the area with power.

The snow is still falling here, although a lot ligher than it has been all day (and it has been falling all day). On the plus side, no work yesterday and today! woo hoo!!!
you can send some of that cool weather down here - we're gearing up for another heatwave and there will be more of them before autum hits
Ugh! It has been snowing/sleeting here since a quarter til five! I went to the grocery store b/c I was too lazy to go last night and BOY did I pay for that! The parking lot was jam packed, we had to wait for shopping carts, and of course the bread was the first thing to go. Actually it was pretty comical to see the lady in front of me with 4 gallons of milk and 6 loaves of bread...LOL. Snow usually only lasts a day or two around here...but you would think we were expecting a blizzard based on the items in those shopping carts.
No snow in Boston but it is a balmy -3 degrees!! Brrr.
A lot of my friends are going to boone tomorrow to get some of the snow action. But I think I will have enough snow action at my house to last me a while. We are suppose to get anywhere between 6-10 inches here. It took me an extra 20 mins to get home (45 vs 25) and there was a single soul on the interstate. I am never driving in the snow again too nerve wrecking for me.
I'm in Virginia :( The snow just finished melting from over Christmas (there's still some left on the ground!). But I wasn't actually in VA during that storm so at least I'll be able to sled this time!
I think we're expecting 10"? in the part of VA I'm in, 15 about 45 minutes away. News says up to 11". NOAA says 6"-12"... hopefully closer to the 6", or maybe like that time they said 3"-4" and we got that dusting, and not like the last time when I shoveled the driveway for BF, and 5 hours later I wasn't sure that I'd shoveled...
Guess I'll be up bright and early shoveling tomorrow.

We are! We're going to be in the middle of this crazy eastern snowstorm moving through! Wooo! We only had snow briefly once so far this year, so this is sooo welcome!
If you're in VA... I feel sorry for you though. 14" possible is NOT fun!
