Disclaimer: This thread addresses same sex experimentation. If you do not have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. I'm open to your opinions and will respect them but don't jump down anyone's throat. Let's keep this snark free ladies!
The other thread about the back door got me thinking about my past intimacy experiences. I'll be the first to admit that while I wasn't a lesbian, I messed around with girls in high school just to see what it was all about.
So, have you ever experimented?
I guess it started as experimenting, then realized I really, really liked it. Looking back, I think I was attracted to girls long before I was attracted to guys (first crush on a girl was age 8 or 9, on a guy wasn't until age 12).
I'm kind of terrified of hitting on women, though, so I've dated more men than women.
Oh yeah. I had my days of "experimenting". I admit, they were fun, but I'm over it now.
ETA: It wasn't your typical drunk experiments either. There were feelings involved.
Nope, I'm just not sexually attracted to other women, so it wasn't for me!
I admit that I think girls are very sexy. There is something about the female body that is very sensual! I mean, you don't see people laughing at female strippers, but male strippers are just hilarious! BUT whenever it comes to actually doing something physical with another woman, I don't get turned on. It just doesn't do it for me. Men, though, do ;) I find my bf simply amazing to be with sexually (sorry if it's tmi!). So while looking at women can turn me on, actually being with them does not. I'm not sure what you would classify my sexuality as because of that (maybe bi-curious?), but I consider myself straight since I seek physical and romantic attachments with men rather than women. I'm weird, I know.
I've made out with quite a few girls (not always drunk, I should point out) but nothing ever went past that. I actually had a huge crush on a girl I knew through mutual friends and was considering asking her out on a date (she was bisexual and seemed interested in me) until I met my FI.
@ttwo2: I actually don't think that's that weird. I feel like I've heard a number of people say something similar. I think part of it is that women are hot, but also part of it is that society really conditions people to see women as sexier than men. There's just so much more exposure in the media and in social situations to women as sexual objects and beings than men as those things.
The reality is always more fluid than the labels, but I think if you've opened yourself up to the possibility of being bisexual and found that there's not really there to turn you on, it doesn't necessarily mean you're bicurious because you find women attractive.
ETA: not sure if I made this all that clear, but labels are only guidelines anyway and I'm not really an authority on anything so if you feel like you classify yourself that way, it's totally cool too!
No way. A girl kissed me once and I found it less exciting than when I kissed a tree (a very drunk moment).
I had a LTR in Nursing school with my roomate, we were both away from home and our BFs and it was convient and very erotic. She was beautiful and we were very close friends anyways, so it just worked really well. We got married the same month and had one last fling the week before I got married(I was married two weeks before her).
It was great, we studied together, shopped together and slept together!
Now she's a mom and we still talk every other day, but we havn't had any phyiscal intamacy in a year and a half
I had a one very drunken weekend in college with a boyfriend and another girl he was having sex with (I was cool with it at the time). It was fun, but nothing I ever felt the urge to repeat.
No, other than a peck in high school on a dare. What is about boys wanting to see cheerleaders kiss? LOL.
Just not interested in that.
Just an occasional fantasy, but not enough strong feelings to compel me to make it reality. The lesbian porn scenes can get kinda hot, and I wonder if I'd ever be good at it, lol, but even in college I never had the urge to experiment.
I've thought about it, and honestly wish I had but nope, nothing has ever lead past crushes and cheek pecks.
I have. I mean of course the occasional making out with best friends that are females all of high school , but then I experimented with my best friend.... we went as far as two females can. I enjoyed it but I love men WAY more. I think it was a good experience and something that I do not regret. I became very comfortable with my own body by being with her... kinda a self esteem boost. Shes still a very good friend to me. Also, my "little" sis in my sorority *( NOT BLOOD RELATED IN ANY WAY)* she got her coochie pierced and nipples pierced and of course the first thing i said was LET ME SEE! I enjoy messing with the same sex, its completely harmless and fun. It feels soo naughty for some reason. Ive made out with multiple girls and "messed" around with 2-3 girls.
@Lindsay12.31.2010: And YES to the lets see the cheerleaders make out! hahah ohh high school days.
One of my good friends and I made out once but I really wouldn't consider it experimenting.
We'd made a bet with our boyfriends at the time (now my DH and her FI) and we lost. As the losers, we were to make out with each other for our boyfriends. They both thought that it was way hotter than either of us did!
Nope. Not at all. I think women are beautiful, but I just have no sexual attraction to them whatsoever.
I have been with more women than men and my longest relationship was with a woman and it lasted 7 years. I JUST OUTED MYSELF!!! AHHH! (I've never mentioned on here before)
The best part of my story includes my fantastic mother. I had an amazing set of very supportive parents. My father took a little longer to come around, but eventually did. They loved my ex to death and treated her just like a daughter. My mother even began to run her own PFLAG chapter. As I became older I realized that I was becoming more interested in men. When I was 26, I left my ex and I told my mother that I thought I might want to date men. She looked at me and said, "Oh my" (her eyes began to well up) "How will I tell all my friends". Classic!
@mwitter80: hahaha so cute!!
No interest. It wouldn't be true to my own sexual desires, so I never tried.
@mwitter80: I was with a girl for three years. Her parents hated me. My family just shrugged it off. It was interesting to say the least. We ended it when I was 18 then I was single until I was 21 and met J. :)
Ive had crushes on girls and hooked up with some but have never had a serious relationship with one. My friendship with my ex best friend was honestly more like a relationship than a friendship but neither of us defined it that way (I still refer to our parting as a breakup..which I didn't realize until someone pointed it out this weekend). I wouldnt be against having a relationship with a female but since I am getting married and my FI is very into monogomy that will probably never happen.
one last fling...
How is that any different from f*cking an ex boyfriend one last time before marriage? thats horrible
@Oneeleven: Unless her husband knew about it and was okay with it.
True. I shouldn't open my yap until I know the facts
@Oneeleven: I was thinking the same thing as you, no worries. But the PP has posted in intimacy boards so much and they seem to have a very open-minded relationship so that's why I pointed it out.
@ttwo2: I am actually pretty similiar in my thoughts. I find the female body beautiful and I do enjoy a girl on girl movie every now and then but I've never been in a position to actually be physicially attracted to a woman I've ever known. My desire is always for men.
Not even a little bit. Never ever. However, I have been hit on a lot by the same sex. And, every single one of my 5 college female roommates experimented with one another, all except me and my best friend.
I've had quite a bit of experience with girls. But i'm comfortably bisexual, so it was never really experimentation. Just fun.
Nothing serious, when I was younger on a drunken night my best friend and I kissed each other as a bargain to get two of our guy friends to kiss. Hahaha what memories!
When I was a senior in high school, my best friend at the time and I started crushing on each other after we both had bad breakups with boyfriends. We held hands a lot, sometimes in public, and a couple of nights we had some serious french kissing and clothed groping sessions. It was exciting, but new and sort of taboo for both of us, and it never went any further. It died out naturally after a while. Other than that I've never been attracted to women, and my friend has always been into guys before and since--she's living with a guy now--so I think it was jut mixed-up hormones caused by the boyfriend trouble. We're still friends, though we've drifted apart with time, and we never talk about it--not because of awkwardness, just because it was a phase.
I'll play...
I have def. kissed girls in college when I'd been drinking. It was normally my BFF...but I'd kissed other girls too. 3 total.
I did have a threesome once too, but it was mostly so my friend could have sex with this guy she liked...so I got out of there as soon as it got hot and heavy. At most it would be considered a three way kiss haha.

I'm sexually attracted to women as well as men, but I've never had the chance to experiment. I'm a little salty about that! *sigh*
My number one girl crush is Lyndell Montgomery (on the left):
