Fiance LUUUUURVVVVVS (loves) long thick hair. He thinks it’s the sexiest. I actually agree, but my hair follicles don’t. My hair is just past shoulder length, and fairly thin, so I got some extensions- 20″ inch ones, to be exact. The color matches flawlessly, and everyone who’s seen them loves them. Even Fiance did the first time they were in.
But I curled them last night and showed him- and he said they looked gorgeous, but knowing they weren’t my real hair felt weird to him. He’s not a lover of “the natural look,” in general (not on me anyway) he likes a little makeup, and super messy bed-hair, push up bras- sex kitten stuff- so I don’t know why they weirded him out- maybe it’s just the wedding?
I don’t know… I really like them, and he did say they’re pretty… what would you do?
For the record, I’ll feel gorgeous either way, I’ll just feel extra fab and sexy with them.

I’m wearing some on my wedding day–not as much for length (my hair is pretty long) but it, like yours, is REALLY thin and has no volume! Since i’m planning on wearing my hair mostly down it was the reason I bought them in the first place. If he likes them, but doesn’t necessarily think they’re right for the wedding, chances are that even if you wear them he’s not going to have a meltdown over your hair, he’ll be distaracted by the rest of your “bridal beauty” and probably won’t even think twice about it 🙂 Do whatever makes you happiest!

I think you’re right, I was just a little let down, and I don’t want him to think I’m all weird looking on wedding day, Thanks!
So since i’ve already created the thread, let’s turn it into a “Show me your wedding day extensions!” thread 🙂
Show ’em off, ladies.

here is my normal sad thin hair. LOL

@luvmyDwight: Oooh! They’re beautiful! I think the length might be an issue. Do you think they’d be hard to cut myself? Maybe if I chop 2 inches off they’ll be more believable. Currently, they’re 5+ inches longer than my real hair.

@bells219: The length migh be an issue. Mine were just a tad longer than my own hair when it is straight but much fuller.
I wouldn’t trust myself to cut them but that’s just me.
Are you having a hairstylist do your hair? maybe he/she could cut them.
