Mine will be sewn in!!! Sooo excited!!! Im with you on the weave it part lmao!!! I want my hair to look like kim kard's hair i have blonde though ;) Are u getting sewn in?
My MOH is purchasing them for me as my gift. I have very thin hair over the last few years and it is finally starting to come back, but not in time for the wedding, so this will help me acheive how I want my hair to look on our wedding day. So excited!
My friend did gorgeous long extensions for her wedding, but wound up removing them before the big day because her FI hated them. He liked how they looked, but when he ran his hands through her hair, he said it felt lumpy, like there were "bugs living in there." I'd consider extensions because my hair is fine and doesn't grow very long, but then I remember that story and think FI probably wouldn't like them I'd just end up taking them out.
I used some, and am so glad I did. I used the clip on extensions that my hair dresser used and my hubby thought it was my hair up until he had to help me take them off! My hair is very thin, so it really helped.
I'm not because I think that much hair kind of overwhelms my face - but I think if I had hair that didn't hold curl or short hair I'd definitely do it.
I'm a fan of extensions but I've never had them. They are a little too pricey. Luckily, I started growing my hair out right after we started dating.
I wore permanent individual extensions for two years but took them off last year. They look great but are difficult to maintain and do damage your hair over time. I'm getting 20-inch clip ons for the wedding day, my hair stylist will pick them out and put them in that day. I'm also going for the Kardashian hair :)
I am NOT doing extensions for a few reasons:
1) My FI hates the way they feel in my hair
2) Sew in extensions = OUCH!! I'm not that comitted to them.
3) The hassle of taking care of them.
If you are going to do extensions, here is my advice: buy the hair yourself from a local beauty supply store (like Sallys). When you buy them, purchase coordinating thread and needle for them (if doing the sew in kind). Have them put in at a cosmetology school!
I am going to use sew-ins most likely. I dont want to have to deal with glue (yuck) and the other alternatives are too expensive for upkeep. Keep the comments coming ladies!
I am also getting sewn in I have had them several times and they looked great!!! It all depends if you get a professional to do them..If so they will look great!
well sort of - full lace wig for me! WOOOH lol
but i used to wear extentions all the time. either regular glue or sewn in extentions or when i had microbraids.
either way - very easy upkeep and relatively inexpensive! :)
i second buying the hair yourself. its always cheaper. however, i would suggest NOT buying it at sally's - its lower quality hair and it shows. get thee to the nearest chinatown shop (every town has at least one nearby no matter how small!) and get the "good hair" :)
I agree with spaganya Def go to Local Beauty supply shop..Not Sallys.. ;)
my hair is very thin so I chose to get a full head of hair wefts they come in pieces so I can use them at my discreation to get the fullness that I desire.

I am a firm believer in the "if you cant achieve it, weave it" mentality. On your wedding day, you should look and feel as beautiful if you want to. I am going to wear extensions in my hair for my wedding? Are you using extentions, sew-ins, fusions, etc for your wedding?
