yep!! I had micro-link extensions this summer with remi hair (real hair)...they lasted about 1 month before they started to slip out. I was SUPER DUPER impressed. It's strand by strand and my hair stylist got the exact same color to match my hair. If your hair is dark, that part will be easy.
But they didn't damage my hair at all. I didn't even notice they were there. It felt just like, that was my hair lol. The part that was annoying was when 1-2 fell out I started getting so paranoid. She told me that was normal. Once I lost about 5-10 individual extnsions I felt like it looked sooo crazy and obviously looked like it wasnt as thick so I went and took all of them out. You can re-use the hair too. What REALLY pissed me off and the reason why I wouldnt do it again...is because I have thick hair. But it was short at the time. For my natural (wavy or thicker hair and shorter) hair to blend in with the long sleek real hair extensions...she had to THIN the s!hit out of my hair (ends) so that when I straightened my hair it would blend in and not look like two diff lengths stuck on my head...if that makes sense?? She had to cut more layers and blend it and razor my ends so they weren't so thick. I didn't think twice at the time because I wanted it to look super natural (I had a bad hair cut and needed extensions to feel whole again lol)
But when I took the extensions out...? My hair was in WORSE shape than when I started. My ends are all frayed and angled and pointy...it's so gross. But if your hair is already LONG and blending of layers or texture isn't a huge problem, I would say it's a fabulous idea. My hair wasnt hurt from the extensions themselves..it was the hair dresser haha.
You could get some clip on extensions!? My best friend has them and clips them in anytime we go out or if she knows pics will be taken lol. Either way will look great :) Adds some thickness and some length :)
Extenstions suck. I hated having them when I did. Do you watch Jersey Shore? You can see first hand how messed up extenstions can get, in 2 weeks' ago episode. Deena had to like cut the shit out of her hair because she danced too hard, and her extentstions were literally knotted to her head. Not cute.
I would recommend clip in, as opposed to fused. Clip in is easy, and it comes out before you sleep.
Where do you buy the clippy ones? Are the strand by strand ones what the Jersey Shore girls have?

My hair dresser suggested that I fill my hair in with the strand-by-strand extensions for my wedding since my hair is really long and dark, but kind of flat/thin. She said it wouldn't damage my hair and would last through our honeymoon. Has anyone done this? Was it worth it? What was your experience like? How long did they last?
I really want my hair to be nice and full, and to wear it down on my wedding. Our honeymoon is in Europe, so it's not like I'm going to be swimming tons at the beach!!!
Thank you!
