I love extravagant trains on wedding dresses. Mine caused me some concern that it might be too over the top, but in the end, I LOVE IT! I wouldn't have it any other way. I love the statement it makes.
Does your dress have an extravagant train? Show us your train!
My train isn't big, but it is bold, being bright red!! Looking at pictures makes me want to wear my dress now!!!
My train isn't as long as Miss Snowflake's but for me it is pretty long, especially since I am getting married outside, I'm just hoping its not too fancy for an outdoor wedding!
My wedding is outdoors too, sweetkate. I just fell in love with this dress! I didn't care if anyone thought it was "too fancy" or not! LOL :)
@sweetkate: Your dress is beautiful! I think it will be just fine for an outdoor wedding!
Mine is not too long or detailed, but I love it! (Oh and don't mind my scraggly hair! I needed a hair cut so bad!)
Thanks! I knew I had to have this dress when I put it on and it fit perfect off the rack! Yay for no alterations!
You just know I have to weigh in with mine ;) It's completely ridiculous (and removable!)
@doctorgirl - I thought of you when I created this thread - I was wondering when you'd show up! :) I love love love your train...
On a related note, I have a cathedral train but not a good photo of it right now (my dress is really similar to Miss Snowflake actually). What are you all wearing under your dresses? Is it too much to wear a hoop skirt with a long train?
I havnt bought my dress yet but im 99.9% sure that im getting this one. maybe w colored crinolin???
Wow. Woo hoo. Pretty trains everyone! DoctorGirl, I love yours. I've never seen anything like that, ever!!!!!!!!!! Very gorgeous.
My dress ... without giving away too much detail, never know who is on here ... yes I'm that girl who is paranoid about people finding me on here... and knowing all of my surprises- My dress has just a little bit of a train.
My veil is being made with 3 yards are material though ... which seems like it will be long! I'm so excited.
I love these trains, but I don't think I could ever pull one off! I am way too clumsy :P
I really didn't even want a train until I was in this one and I LOVE it!

oh wow mrs martin that dress is AMAZING!! is it a maggie? gosh its gorgeous!
Thanks!
Its a Sottero and Midgely - Maggie's other collection!
If you want to see the front I posted a pic of me in it here
I am envious! I love my dress but it doesn't have much of a train. Trains are so "bridal" and lovely. Keep them coming, ladies!
Gorgeous dress porn ladies. I don't have much of a train on mine but I love seeing all these pictures!
I never really had much of an opinion about trains until I started trying on dresses. That said, I ended up with a 9 foot train and I love every inch of it!!!
Mrs. Martin, my jaw is on the floor. Your dress is stunning all around, but that just makes my heart skip a beat!
and Divine- I knew with a name like yours, you'd have to have a fabulous train!
I don't plan on wearing a gown with a long train. However, I saw this picture a while back and feel in love with this gown. Once I start trying on gowns, I'll know what will work best. All of your gowns are beautiful, btw.
@ Sam back when I wanted red on my dress, I really liked this one
It is not huge but it is longer than what I thought I would go for.
Here's mine!

And can you believe that this dress was only 100 beans?!? Yep, $100.
Mine isn't SUPER extravagant, but I still want to show it off :)
I'm not sure if loading this will work, but my dress is Casablanca 1901.
Don't know if mine is considered extravagent or not. But here it is!

I don't know that I would describe it as extravagant, but I love mine to death - it's exactly what I wanted for our outdoor, winery wedding, in every single little way. (Ivory, not green like the photo!)
Ms.Snuggie -That is about the most gorgeous dress back I've ever seen.

Are you going to be trying on that dress? Do you know who makes it?
@ Mrs. DG: I think your dress goes better with my nickname!! Lol!!
Here is my train...not the best pic but I had extra length added to make it even longer! I love it!
