It was for me! But my in-laws were visiting, and while I love them, I struggle having people stay in my “space,” so I was already irritable, so the cause is difficult to detect…

I don’t think it’s a very reliable sign, though 😉

I was nuts, I wanted to strangle my poor DD and my DH just looking at me made me want to scream. I got my BFP 8-9 DPO. Really cm changes and moodiness were my first signs that I as probably pregnant

@AnonymousCupcake:  I think it could be a symptom, hormones definitely effect my mood!!

@Chrissy26:  Idk if this is too tmi so don’t answer if you feel uncomfortable, but what kinds of changes with your CM? I’ve had some differences since past cycles and I’m trying to figure out if it means anything I’m only 7dpo today so too early to test!

@AnonymousCupcake:  yep. A few times during the TwW I told DH I hope I’m pregnant otherwise I can’t explain this uncontrollable rage I feel towards people who usually mildly annoy me lol

It’s possible! If you ask my DH, he probably noticed more of it than I would have before we got our BFP :-). The one thing that I noticed (and this was what made me test) was my boobs hurt, but in a much different way than they do when I am on my period. They couldn’t be touched AT ALL.

@MrsRichard:  no problem 🙂 I knew I ovulated bc of cm changes and positive OPK tests. I started taking those about 4 days before I thought Id ovulate (twice a day).

After my period cm was sticky or nonexistent. Then the week of ovulation it started to increase then become watery. The day of and after ovulation it was just creamy and white (like eggs). Then when usually it would hgone slowly gone back to watery and then disappeared (as I approached my period) it stayed. It would feel as though my period had started (bc it was so much), it was sometimes creamy and varied from white to yellowish. That was one reason I was hopeful I was KU. It never dried up again.

A helpful site is quoted below:

  • As Your Ovulation Date Approaches: As you enter your fertile window, your cervical mucus will increase in quantity and moistness. Color may be cream-like in appearance.
  • At the Time of Ovulation: In the days immediately preceding ovulation, the production of cervical mucus will be at its highest and the consistency and color of the mucus will be similar to egg whites. Once you detect the presence of this fertile-quality cervical mucus, you will know you are in your most fertile days.
  • After Ovulation: After ovulation, the quantity of cervical mucus begins to decline and become thicker in consistency. Unfortunately, after tracking changes in your cervical mucus, you might find that you really don’t produce very much fertile-quality cervical mucus around the time of ovulation. Or, you might even realize that the cervical mucus you produce is “hostile”, meaning it is thick and sticky, instead of thin and stretchy. Either condition can hinder your reproductive efforts by making it difficult for sperm to travel efficiently and safely to the Fallopian tube to meet the egg for fertilization. Insufficient production of fertile quality cervical mucus or the presence of hostile cervical mucus may result from a variety of factors including diet, stress, hormonal issues, or even from taking prescription medications like Clomid.

@MrsRichard:  also my BFP was at 8DPO! My cm varied a lot after ovulation. Sometimewe very wet, sometimes more creamy, then it’d seem to stop for a few hours then come back…very strange for sure

@Chrissy26:  That makes me hopeful! I’m 8dpo now & I have still been getting creamy cm so I was confused, but maybe it just means good news! I got up at 5am to pee and DH goes did you pee? i was like ya! He goes on a stick? I said no it’s too early! Lol I guess I could’ve just taken one of my dollar store ones haha maybe tomorrow! Congrats again on your BFP 🙂

@MrsRichard:  thanks! This early I think it’s not likely to get a BFP on a cheap test since they aren’t as strong so is its not a BFP don’t get too sad!!

@AnonymousCupcake:  I actually HATED my DH for the first 2-3 months I was pregnant. Everything he did was wrong.

It eventually passed!
