Everytime I wear eye shadow (i usually wear almay or cover girl) I always get creases on my eye lid only after a few hours. I am getting my make-up professionally done for wedding, but I am scared this will happen! Any suggesstions would be so helpful!

I use to get that too! I had to get an eye shadow primer and it works swell. Using a base cream was also helpful too. Your professional makeup artist for the wedding will most likely (hopefully) have this stuff. Here’s a link to an article about it http://www.makeupgeek.com/articles-reviews/choosing-the-best-eyeshadow-primer/
Good luck and I’m sure you’ll look beautiful on your day! Congrats!!

Like the pp said use a primer. I use MAC primer paint and it works really well and makes my shadow last all day. A professional will most definitely use a primer as well.

Urban Decay primer potion is the best eyeshadow primer I’ve used. No creases and it makes my eye makeup last all day.

Use MAC painterly as a base? Urban decay is good too

@nita79: Yup. This, in Stilife: http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/154/344/Paints/index.tmpl
I actually really prefer it to Urban Decay, it’s thicker and dries much faster. I use Urban Decay shadows but, I use the MAC paint for the primer.

Right now, I’m using Urban Decay primer, but I also occasionally use ELF primer. It’s $1, and it works fine to keep my eyeshadow on during the day. I would try that first before you invest a ton of money in a primer (although I think people with dryer eyelids tend to have better results with this one). They sell it at Target.
