I love Lorac’s Take a Brow.  I use an angled brush to apply it.

Powder and a stiff brush is MUCH friendlier. 🙂

I have a story to share with you!  My sister used Nair on her eyebrows as a teenager without realizing Nair expands!  She hasn’t had eyebrows since, so she’s been painting both eyebrows in their entirety for the past two decades.  She has tried them all and always comes back to the Maybelline red stick every time.

When I need some fill in (usually in summer when they tend to bleach out in the salt and sun), I use an angle brush and powder (most of the time a brown eyeshadow when necessary–Mac, if that helps) for a more natural effect.  I think the pencils take a bit of practice to get just right and natural.  I never have gotten the hang of it! 🙂  Hope they fill back in quickly!

Wait, what? Nair causes permanent hair damage? If so, I want to damage the hair on my legs and you know what off.

:p

Edit: Oh! Another thing about using the powder– one great trick is to get clear mascara (or brow gel, it’s essentially the same thing!) and swipe it on your brows afterward. Also keeps your brows neat!

I think eyebrow hair is especially sensitive.  I over-tweezed my brows about 10 years ago and have been filling them in ever since.  I’ve never heard of someone tweezing a leg hair and it never growing back.

Dont’ you wish it would like that on the legs and you know what, though?  I do–it doesn’t do a thing for me! 🙂  The gel is a great idea, too!  She can also gently comb down a couple of brows to help cover the ‘dent’.

I use the brow set by MAC.  I use the angled brush to apply.
