I went to get eyelashes extensions yesterday and, yesterday, they were beautiful. However, I was told they were supposed to last up to a month (+) and, at day 2, I have maybe 5 left in my eyes. I’m going back on Monday to complain/ask for suggestions/refund because I’m very unhappy. This was just supposed to be the trial run but I still spent a pretty penny for really nothing.
I *might* still get them done for the wedding, even if they do just last that one day, but the longer time frame is why I paid nearly double for individual extensions vs. the regular extensions.

I wonder if there was something wrong with the glue they used? Did you avoid water (shower) for the required time to let the glue dry?
I had them done and they started falling out as soon as the next day on my eyes too. But I definitely had enough to still be noticeable for about 3 weeks after they were applied. That really sucks that yours didn’t even last a week! They are so expensive, I don’t blame you for demanding they re-do them. That’s too much money to waste on just a few hours of use.

Update* My eyes swelled up and I had to get the rest of them removed at the Dr.’s. Never again. Never.

@atalante: I’m okay. My eyes are bloodshot and itchy as all get out. I called the place that did it to let them know what happened and all they said was, “Well, there was no way for us to know that would happen. Use vaseline to sooth them.” Right – I’m on steroids for inflamation and you think vaseline will do something good? Sure.
Apparently, this happens in a small percentage of people that get them and I had no idea. The doc said that the glue that they used was def not medical grade, though, because they had to use a heck of solvent to get it off.
Bright Side: I didn’t get this done right before the wedding!!

I got mine done on Saturday and I love them! I’ve gotten a ton of compliments and they still look totally fine, no irritation. I was told not to get them wet for 48 hours. Maybe the place you got them done is just no good? But if your eyes became swollen maybe you are allergic to the adhesive? The adhesive shouldn’t be on your skin though they should be to the individual lashes. Sorry that happened 🙁 but look on the bright side… at least you tried it out BEFORE your wedding and not the day of!

Oh no! Hope your eyes are quickly recovering. A good reminder to try things out ahead of time!

It just sounds like you’re having a reaction to them that not everyone has. I have gotten them a couple of different times and have never had a problem.
I hope that everything heals up for you quickly!

My friend is a makeup artist and yelled at me when I told her I was thinking about getting them. She said, “do you want your eyelashes to fall out!!” so i didn’t get them and I will stick to removable falsies.
