So I've been obsessed lately with fabric invitation pockets a la Mrs. Snowpea and Mrs. Lemon. Also, whiteaisle.com has some silk pockets. Does anyone know anywhere else to get them or any advice?

     TIA

    my favorite ever:

they cost a pretty penny, though.

you should start inquiring with custom invite makers in your area, or search etsy.

I made silk-covered pocketfolds by spray-adhesving dupioni silk to cardstock. (it was in the DIY contest, you can search to take a look)The silk was only on the outside, though. Getting it on both sides with no seams showing would've been difficult. Adhesiving, cutting, edging, and scoring was a lot of work, but definitely cheaper than $25 each! Let me know if you need instructions!

i made my own also.  i didn't make pocketfolds though, i just covered cardstock with my shantung silk dupioni fabric.  then i made a booklet of all of the inserts bound with a japanese bookbinding technique (i sewed them together by hand).

here's some pictures of the main piece as i was trying out ideas:  http://dc-loves-hp.blogspot.com/2007/06/invite-progress.html

    and the booklet: http://dc-loves-hp.blogspot.com/2007/08/ah-progress.html
