Ummm. Wow. I would be really disappointed if I was you. I know everyone says replica dresses are only supposed to be 90% accurate, but the stitching in that skirt looks really bad, not to mention the wrong coloured embellishments.

Hopefullu PayPal will issue a refund and you can manage to find a nicer dress in the short amount of time you have left!

@Hellish88:  Oh my goodness! I’m so sorry you had this experience I too would be disappointed :/ hopefully Paypal could see this and actually get you your money back so you can at least get some of your money back. On the bright side, i’m sure the DaVinci will look great on you! Keep us posted on how things go! 

 

Good luck, and don’t let this be a crutch for your big day, its a bump in the road, things will work out!

If you don’t have to send back the replica to resolve the disputed payments, do a “trash the dress” photoshoot! The bad workmanship and color problems won’t be such an issue then and you’ll get a chance to enjoy the nice elements of your original inspiration!

@Hellish88:  Hi im interested in knowing if paypal was helpful at all… I’ve contacted them to dispute… I paid for 2 gowns with fab u in earlt May but haven’t received them yet and its November. I know its gone past the 45 days and Paypal said they will get the seller to contact me… but tony has not emailed nor responding to my request for an updatd. They said that if they can’t make the dress you want, they will say no… but when it clear they can’t make the dress you want after payment they don’t care… really regret going with them.

@Hellish88:  I foolishly paid all upfront for both dresses in good faith. So far, no communication from Tony or his team regarding my dresses or a refund. I called paypal and they said that its gone past 45 days and not much they can do except contact them to contact me, which Fab U haven’t done so.

Fabulous U don’t provide any security after payment that the dresses will be completed.

Having the same problem with this company.  No dress and my attempts at a refund are being ignored.  They have also blocked me from commenting on the FB page and all my previous comments have been deleted.

WOW, ladies I actually got my dress but it is really tight and I have to have alteration done. Overall the dress is of good quality, I hate that you guys got totally ripped off. I took a chance and told several brides about them. I am now in the process of letting them do not go with them. there is too much of a risk that you won’t get your dress.Not all of their communciation on the site is accurate. Found out my dress cannot be let out not enough fabric. urgggh. I paid 550 for a dress including shipping and it does not fit. Also Tony sent me an email about creating a thread and they would pay me $30 for my time. Well they didn’t and now they are ignoring my request for payment. am now looking for a new dress to be made by a more reputable company.

Did you use a credit card w/ paypal?  If  you did you can file a credit card dispute.  That’s actually how i do all my paypal disputes, though my cc.  Paypal takes too long and are kind of annoying to deal with.

Be VERY VERY careful about ordering from Fabulous U. I ordered a $500 gown and they made an extremely LOW QUALITY gown. The messed up the fabric, silhouette, hem, and bodice. They refused to correct it or remake it (as their policies state) and they refuse to honor my requests for a refund. Now they refuse to respond to my emails or answer my calls, and I am out of $500 for my WEDDING no less. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS VENDOR! BUYER BEWARE

I just got off the phone with my bank and paypal… 🙁 They were both unable to help me. The bank said the transaction come out of my personal account not my credit card… so they are unable to assist in the dispute.

I have no dress and no refund. Definitely do NOT buy from Fabulous U at all. I paid for 2 dresses as well.
