I have the Philosophy Peel and it works very well!
My only other suggestion would be to get a microdermabrasion peel at a spa.
Ali- Is it hard to use? Basically I've heard horror stories from at home peels and don't want to have my face turn bright red or burn it.
Go to a beauty school! I just graduated and before attending I would have NEVER ever consider going to a school for a haircut or even a facial. If you go to a reputable school I promise you, you will get amazing service! At my school microdermabrasion and peels were around $40.00. The instructor is there the whole time!
The Philosophy one is SUPER easy to use. It's two steps. Rub the yummy smelling crystals on your face for a minute or so and then rub on the "activator" and let it sit for like 3 minutes.
Pretty much fool proof!!
@Jenny- I WISH we had a good one around me but sadly we don't. It's in a really bad part of town and I gave them a shot once to get my hair done and it turned out so horrible, I still have nightmares from the uneven cut I got.
As someone who went to beauty school are there any that you recommend that I can do at home?

Bees, I need your help. I'm almost 27, have had some acne around my chin/mouth area since I was a teen. My acne has since (thankfully) calmed down so now I get the occasional blemish when my pal arrives every month. As a result of this I have some light (not pitted) scarring and an uneven skin tone. I don't have the money to get a facial or peel all the time so I've been looking at at home/DIY face peels from Sephora. Has anyone tried the Philosophy Microdelivery Peel (2 step, not the pads)? Or can you suggest something else that is less than $70? It doesn't even have to be from Sephora just as long as I can buy it online. Also you should know I have sensitive, fair skin so that might affect your recommendations.
Thanks Bees! I look forward to your responses!
