Weddingbee boards
I'm not in Seattle, but I worry that newbees wouldn't hear about a facebook group as easily as they can see the sign ups on the boards, for any given local group (Seattle seems to be one of our most active locales though, especially for meet ups! I feel like ya'll are always getting together - and I'm way jealous!)
I love that idea. Couldn't we have one of the Bee's ("poke" Pretzel or DG) to sticky a thread on the Seattle board for the newbee's, about the group?
That way nobody wouuld be missed :)

Yeah, this wouldn't be to replace the threads we have on here. It would be in addition to it. Plus, once you become a member of this local weddingbee site, you could be a member of this group and know about upcoming meetups after you *tear* leave weddingbee. But since we are such a nice group here, it would be great to keep up with fellow bees.
Well, I guess this would only be good for people who are regularly on facebook, like me.
yes, that would be awesome! I'm on facebook more than I'm on here...and sometimes with the boards being so busy, I think I might miss posts about meet-ups.

Yup, I almost missed the last meetup, the DIY one. I don't check the Seattle boards everyday and if I didn't check it, I would have missed it completely. Although, I didn't go to the DIY meetup because I had a migraine... but I hope to go to the next one.
Like if there is a wedding related movie coming out, I would love to go with a group from weddingbee because I know I will have to practically drag my DH to go. hehe
Plus it's probably more enjoyable to go with a group of girls then with my husband who will be bored the entire time.
Well, I could make a group and you guys can add yourself if you want.
Let me make one...

Would anyone be interested in joining a facebook group for Seattle weddingbee meetups?
Just trying to think about ways to involved currently planning bees and now newlywed bees.
I know the last few meetups were lots of fun.
Meetup.com is a great site but it cost money to have a group and facebook is the next best thing and it's free!
