I have been breaking out lately and my pores are super clogged on my chin, so I scheduled a facial for the day after tomorrow. Problem is, its one month before my big day and since I havent been working up to a series, I am really worried that it will make my skin worse for the big day. Any thoughts on this? I see its a common worry!

If your pores are superclogged, it probably is a good idea to take care of it earlier, rather than risk having everything erupt even closer to the day. would you be able to have another facial between now and then if further clearing needs to be done? that might be worth considering. i know someone who had back to back facials leading up to her wedding to ensure she had the right glow and clear skin! (a bit ott, not that i'm suggesting you do that!)

you have a month to go, you should be fine.  Like nybride said above, if you can actually get another one between now and then, it might be better.  Get the one you've scheduled and see how long it takes for your skin to return to 'normal' - aka not red, no scabs from extractions, etc, and schedule the next one so you have enough time to heal after.  2 weeks or 1.5 weeks ahead of time should be plenty.  Also try buying an oily skin mask and using it just on your chin - origins charcoal is a really good one, and you could even try the Philosophy exfoliating or oxygen ones to unclog.  but try those sooner rather than later in case your skin reacts poorly to them.

I should be fine. I go for facials and extractions every 3 weeks. And for peels every few months.

Just let the person doing the facial aware of your wedding date. They may have to come in again in 2 wks before your weeking date just to make sure your skin is perfect for your wedding day.
