Hi bees!! I’m new to the TTC boards and very excited!
So, AF is due tomorrow and my temps are still high. I stopped bc pills in Oct. though, so temps and cycle dates may still be wonky.
Last night, I tested with a First Response early pink test. Right away a very faint pink second line showed up. Super faint, but my husband even noticed it.
So, this morning I took another pink dye one, and no second line showed up. This afternoon I took a blue dye one, no line either.
Any thoughts?? Should I retest tomorrow, or wait until the weekend? Has this happened to anyone here?

Hmm I would definitely retest either tomorrow or within the next few days. I hear that first morning urine is best for pg tests because it’s more concentrated. When I got a faint positive and retested (each time with first morning urine), the line got darker, but I’m not sure since everyone’s body is different!
Good luck to you! *baby dust*

I would wait a couple of days, until your period is actually late and test again. I used a FRER the day after my period was due and I got a very obvious second line. Good luck!

Thanks guys :). I know I need to wait, but I want to test every 20 minutes!!! I’m going to hold out until tomorrow morning definitely, Friday would be better if I can wait that long! Or AF may come tomorrow and then I’ll know.
I keep reading that “a line is a line” especially if it’s pink , but those negatives have me guessing….

A line is a line, and I would bet that the other ones you were using too diluted of pee! You could try a 4 hour hold and a FRER? Mine was superfaint but there a couple of days before AF was due. I haven’t ever heard of a false positive on a FRER.

A line’s a line. Test again tomorrow with a FRER and hopefully it will be loud and clear!

False positives are very rare, but false negatives are pretty common, especially early on. Pregnancy tests have varying levels of sensitivity, even among the same brand, so maybe the second and third tests you took weren’t picking up on the hcg yet. Good luck!
