@ChuckNorris:  I know the waiting can be so difficult! Try to find things to distract yourself – go shopping, buy some fun magazines, rent a movie, etc. Tomorrow will be here before you know it and you’ll have your answer. Hopefully you ovulated late and it’s just too early to show up in your urine at the sensitivity of the doctor’s test (probably 25 or 50?). It is possible that it could be a chemical pregnancy, but if you aren’t bleeding at all, that’s a good sign. Hang in there.

Have you taken a test today? Did the line get darker?

Sometimes at home pregnancy tests pick up a higher level than the cheaper urine tests they have at the doctors. Hopefully the blood work will come back with some positive results. FX for you and a sticky baby.

@ChuckNorris:  A chemical pregnancy is a very early miscarriage (before 5 weeks). Implantation occurs and you get a positive result, but it doesn’t stick.  Hopefully that won’t be the case for you. You could try taking another test to see if the line is still there or darker, but that might just make you crazy (since tests have different amounts of dye and the concentration of your pee changes depending on what you eat/drink). Since you are already waiting on the blood test, I would say to buy a magazine and try to keep your mind off of it as much as possible.

Not to be a negative Nelly, but I was a 28 day like clockwork cycle, and then randomly in October I had a 40 day cycle. I took about a million tests, and even saw a faint line or two on the dye tests, with the digital being negative every time.

Keep in mind that there are a lot of things that can mess with your cycle. For me, I think it was my flu shot, because I had never had one before in my life. I know what it’s like to get your hopes up, go to the doctor, and have that blood test come back negative. It sucks. Try to distract yourself as much as possible and try to not get your hopes up. 🙁

I don’t have any stories or anything, but wanted to wish you luck. Hopefully you get results one way or the other tomorrow 🙂

Were you using early pregnancy tests? Like the 10miu/ml sensitivity? I’ve read in the past that some Dr’s office tests aren’t as highly sensitive as some available now in store. You could have caught things early with an extra sensitive test at home?

My first BFPs were both really faint (I was impatient and tested ASAP). With my current pregnancy, the line didn’t get much darker as quickly as I thought it would either… it kinda freaked me out but I’m definitely very pregnant.

Good luck, hopefully your results come back soon!

I would wait until tomorrow and test with first morning urine. Use a First Respone Early Result – they are very sensitive and will give you an answer either way. I know digital tests are known to not be as sensitive, so don’t worry about that. Good luck and keep us updated.

I had multiple faint positives over the course of about 5 days, always negative on digitals.  Finally about 7 days after my missed AF I finally got a positive on a digital.  I ended up miscarrying soon after.  Not trying to be a downer…. just letting you know that you CAN get a positive on a digital after seeing faint lines on a pink dye test.

Good luck!
