How is the planning going!
Well, me and the fiance both go to Auburn, but he graduates in 2 days (!!) and will be moving to Florida for his job, but originally I am from cullman. Which is just a hop, skip, and a jump from Huntsville!
well, it WAS going great and then school kicked in and I had to get my head out of wedding planning and back in the books :( Thankfully I got a lot done before I had to slow down. We have Ceremony, Reception, Catering booked. I have picked out my dress and my Bmaids dresses, and the boys tuxes. Florist isn't booked, but I have my flowers picked out! SO, quite a few big things and lots of ideas about little things. How about you?
I have passed Cullman going down 65 (have been going to Birmingham a lot lately for doctor's appointments). It's great that there is another Alabama bee on here, I haven't seen too many of them!
Edit: It sounds like you have quite a bit done already! You are a lot better off than I was when I was planning so I wouldn't worry too much!

@MissAsB I know it's exciting! My roommate is actually from Huntsville, Madison to be exact! are you in school up there?
@jwinnings Well, thank you! I hope you wont be waiting too much longer? If you had asked me 6 months ago what I would be doing right now I would never have guessed (EVER!) that I would be pllanning my wedding! Life is full of surprises :)
I hope I won't be waiting too much longer either but this site is a great way to get my "wedding fix" haha! so exciting for you though to be planning your wedding! any ideas for it yet?
SOO many! haha, seriously my fiance (and me sometimes!) is totally over hearing me talk about wedding things. The honeymoon is what is causing us the biggest headache. We are torn between this place called Jade Mountain in St. Lucia and Le toiny in St. Barths and its like pulling teeth trying to get him to sit still and figure it all out! But I guess thats the way it goes, hes a boy, what can I say?
boys will be boys, haha. I heard st.lucia is nice, I've never been there though. my boyriend and i have talked about a honeymoon and he wants france(he's traveled a lot, thats one place he hasnt been) i havent been out of the USA so i'd be happy going almost anywhere! haha. well keep us updated on youre wedding planning adventure!

@Nexus.. REALLY?! are you SO pumped? its Definitely our top pick, but just so expensive. Plus, the FI has red hair and is very pale and it worried that it will be too sunny/hot.. what do you think? and yay for (finally!) finding someone who knows of Jade Mountain!

And get this, we're also considering St. Lucia for the honeymoon!
YAY! Maybe we will end up doing St. Lucia also? We are super lucky that FI's parents are paying for the honeymoon so we are having a "family meeting" about it this week, we will definitely know by the end of the year! yay!
@Ins We're SO excited! We saw it on the Travel Channel and joked about going there and didn't really consider it, but then when his parents gave us a generous $$$ gift, it became a reality!
Also I am super pale too (and a redhead, but a bottle one) I plan on wearing lots of sunblock.
@Ins001... got engaged Sept 4th 2009 in Georgia! (Lake Oconee) and that is where we will be getting married on August 21st! Congratulations!

Hi all! So, I guess I shall introduce my self, I'm Lindsay! The FI and I got engaged September 5th 2009 in Atlanta GA, which is also where we will be getting married! YAY! So, any date and city twins out there? this is such a great site and I am addicted already! ALMOST 8 months left!
