Ariel Castro, the man who kidnapped the three girls and held them captive for 10 years, has accepted a plea deal. He plead guilty and recevied “not less than” 1,000 years in prison with no parole. A judge asked him, “You understand that you will never leave prison alive?” and he said, “Yes I do.”

That didn’t take long. Now those girls can be spared a lengthy trial.

“Told by a judge that he would be classified as a violent sexual predator, Castro said he objected to the word ‘violent.'”
I hope the judge looked at him with that “are you fucking kidding me?” look and said, “No? Should have thought about that before you did what you did to those girls.”
I would make a terrible judge, obv.

@s2bmrscook: Awesome!! That man is a waste of human space. I hope he lives a long life and has nothing to do all day but think of what an asshole he is.

@s2bmrscook: The one thing that I hate about that is the fact that the system will be supporting him. He will have access to food, shelther, and possibly even some of life’s joys. He will get visits from his family and lead a life that is better than a lot of folks who live in poverty. Of course I am glad he was punished, but sometimes the punishment doesn’t seem sufficient :-
