Hi Bees! Did you or are you planning to wear fake eyelashes on your wedding day? I’m getting my makeup professionally done, and it’s an option, but I just don’t know what to do! I have short eyelashes naturally, and I really want to look natural — would they be too much?
Would love to see some pics of Bees with and without fakies! Thanks!

@aekc: I had eyelash extensions for about 6 months leading up to my wedding and finally let them go in September because my schedule prevented me from having time to keep up the fills…. Here’s a before/after, and then a pic of me on my wedding day! I loved them and am seriously considering getting them put back on!! 🙂

Here’s me on a regular makeup day with just mascara (and my husband who was obviously thrilled that we were taking a picture)
…and with full makeup and lashes on my wedding day (sorry about the undies lol)

@aekc: I wore them on my wedding day- MUA applied the individual sort. I loved them- they looked really awesome. Highly recommend:)

Oh they make such a huge difference. I also have shortish eyelashes, and it’s amazing how much they make your eyes pop. I wear them for special occasions, and I’m planning to on mt wedding day. Just make sure you get “short” ones, because even the short ones are plenty long. Individual lashes (they’re really clumps of 8-10 lashes) take practice to apply but they do look more natural.

@aekc: Find some made by invisabands, called black babies. I’m a MUA and those are what I use most for weddings if the bride wants them to look natural.
@s2bmrscook: LOVE your wedding pic! It looks like it’s straight out of a 50’s magazine! Gorgeous!!

With very natural lashes.

I wore lashes on my wedding day and loved them. Highly recommend having your MUA use the indvidual lashes vs the strip kind. The individual ones look more natural and are much lighter feeling.
The lashes just added some definition, fullness and length.
Also, it’s good to note that you can trim the length of the lashes if you think they’re too long on you
