I had some extensions put on and then had the make artist put on a set as well. I think she used mac ones.

I would say if you are going to do them yourself, get some now and start practicing as they are suprisingly trickly to apply right.

If you don’t want to worry about them on the day, you could do lash extensions and then their already on ready.

@CarterLove:  I haven’t had my big day yet… But yes I will wear them!

Start practicing now if you plan to do them yourself and also you need to figure out which length and shape you prefer!

I recently started getting eyelash extensions put on at a nail salon and I love them!  They look very natural and I don’t have to worry about dealing with them every day.

@CarterLove:  I suggest checking out red cherry lashes. You can get them in a lot of 3, 6, 10 they have many different selections on ebay and they are very cheap. You can experiment with different styles. So far I have found them the best of styles I have tried. I also like MAC and Ardell but to me the red cherry are the best!

Yes I wore the individual ones, not the strips. They definitely enhance your eyes and with all the photo’s, it helps to have your lashes be a bit more noticeable. I’d play with them a bit before the big day, they are pretty easy to put on. Even better if you can get a bm or someone to put them on for you!

I get lash extentions done every two weeks (the single ones that adhere to each lash individually).  So yes, I did…but I wear them on a daily basis too.  🙂

Nope! I have never worn them before, so I thought it might be overkill. I don’t wear much makeup at all in day to day life.

When I had my makeup trial the artist brought it up, and I said I was on the fence. When she was done she commented that I definitely didn’t need them because my lashes were fabulous as is.

So I think it depends on the person. If you wear a good deal of makeup regularly, then it could add an extra pop.

I’m getting eyelash extensions for the wedding.

I often wear fake eyelashes on weekends, or for special events. Brands I love are Ardell, Red Cherry, and sometimes I even use cheapie $1 Elf individual ones.

    @CarterLove:  DO. IT.

I am very lucky to have long, thick lashes and I still wear fakes sometimes when I know I’m going to be photographed a lot. The difference in pictures is amazing.

Just get a bunch of cheapie ones now, go on youtube for some pointers and practice. It’s no fun trying to get them just right the first few times, so you don’t want to be trying it out on your wedding day. But now that I’m used to putting them on it just takes a couple minutes.

I did and I’m not a huge makeup person. I thought they were going to be annoying but they felt natural after a few minutes.

This is my only sneak peek pic but I wore Ardell demi wispies. I purchases velour mink lashes but they fell apart after the trial so the day before my wedding I had to go out and purchase some at the drugstore but I thought they looked great.

I have never done eyelash extensions before, I have used the falsie strips before though, but only to super fancy events.  I normally wear a thin line of eyeliner and mascara, but it does not show up well in photographs.

I recently purchased a groupon for a set of extensions AND a 2 week fill (for $100), I plan on doing the extensions before my bachelorette party, and the fill a couple days before my wedding!

One of my co-workers who recently got married started getting eyelash extensions done and she continues to go every 2-3 weeks, even though she was married Jan 2nd!
