Are you ladies going to have them for your wedding? I can’t decide if I should or not .. if i do, they wouldn’t be the super huge crossed or blingy kind.. but something to give my limp eye lashes an oomph-factor.

I did them and loved them. BUT – make sure you have glue, in case they come loose!
My MUA put them on – I got teary during the ceremony – someone handed me a kleenex and I dabbed, dabbed, dabbed (not really remembering I had lashes on) – and by the end of the ceremony, one was coming loose!
Fortunately, a friend that wears them had glue and patched me right up.
Other than that – I LOVED them and they looked FABULOUS!

DO IT, it made such a difference! I second having spare glue on hand, I cried during my ceremony and the lashes needed to be touched up afterwards

I am considering lashes too. I love the look of bold lashes but haven’t found a decent water proof mascara. Fake lashes might give it that extra boost. I am doing my own make up so I need to practice applying the lashes so I don’t look crazy on the big day.
I say go for it. It also seems like the extra glue is a good plan.

I have good eyelashes to start with, but I still went with the fake eyelashes on wedding day. I was afraid they would be too much, but I was just looking at photos from a friend of mine and a sneak peak of the pro picts and you can’t tell I’m wearing them. I think they just draw more attention to your eyes than had you not worn them. I say go for it!

I didn’t get them at my makeup trial because my makeup artist said my eyelashes were long enough already. I decided however to add the individual sections of lashes to add volume and I loved them! You can’t tell a lot I’m wearing them but if you look at pictures where I’m not you can. I also felt so gorgeous with them on which made such a difference!

I’ve been debating for awhile and have decided against it. I did have them for my boudoir shoot but I have sensitive eyes and my eyes were watering a lot. My photo session was about 1.5 hours and then I ran some errands. The lashes were coming off by then (they were MAC, done by a professional).
I would just recommend anyone who is considering it to make sure and try them beforehand. I do think they look fabulous in photos … but I’m also concerned what I look like in person (to all the people that are THERE, not just what the photos will turn out like).

I am trying to decide this as well… I purchased these
becuase they said that they photo graph the best and that “90% of our brides buy them”
I have tried them out and I kinda like them, I can put them on myself and wear them all day, I am just not sure wether or not going false on my wedding day.
(my Fiance would like me natural so he can always look back and say “THAT is my ::name::” which is sweet.)

I had them and LOVED them. They make such a difference! The ones my makeup artist used were either individual or like little pods of 2-4 together. I didn’t have a problem with them coming loose at all. They stayed on until the next day infact. I took note of the kind she used also so that I could get them in the future: Ardell DuraLash Naturals.

I love MAC’s lashes. Really great quality, and they’ll stay put with the right glue. I use DUO.

I am debating this as well! I didn’t think my eyes were quite dramatic enough after my trial so I was thinking about adding fake lashes but I won’t have a chance to try them with the MUA till that day. I’m thinking about buying some myself to try them out, and I am sure she’d be OK adding them to the look that day. Just want to make sure I can handle them. Fiance also prefers the natural look, and I don’t want to look, well, like a drag queen. But I kind of want to look out of the ordinary, above and beyond, like in a magazine (well as close as my humble looks can get me at least) so I figure this is the time to go for it!
Would anyone who wears or has worn them be willing to post a pic of them on?
Also, individual lashes or strips?

I did and it was worth it! My makeup artist put on the individual lashes and they were gorgeous!

@Amaryllis: Great idea! I’d love to see pictures too!

Here’s my makeup trial without and the wedding day with them! I used the smaller clusters of lashes just to fill out the volume. Also, I got mine at Walgreen’s for $4 and she said she couldn’t even tell they weren’t more expensive.
