@Karen91602: Here's what my florist sent me: the bride hand-tied bouquet of mixed flowers including dahlias in shades of bronze and gold, with Latina and Leonidis Roses, dark purple lisianthus, dark chocolate hypericum, millet, wheat and other seed pods consistent with fall. The bridesmaids: aubergine, will carry hand-
tied bouquets of roses in shades of orange, gold and bronze with chocolate hypericum and other berries with accents of wheat and glycerin preserved fall leaves.
Cala lilies come in brown and I've seen brown roses. Other than that it's usually died flowers or things like wheat, seeds, berries, etc.
I'd focus on the other colors for your flowers with just hints of the brown. There are so many other places you can way for easily (and prettily) included brown.
Thanks bees!
Yes, I do plan on using other colors in my bouquet other than brown, but I did want one or two flowers brown, just to make it pop :)
Here's my flowers! Our wedding was November 7th and we used fall colors.

@Karen91602: Personally, I think sunflowers work perfectly for September weddings, especially in richer colors than the typical bright yellow.
@gvsusara: SO beautiful! Thank you for sharing! Ill have to show them to my florist.
@Karen91602:Thanks! I know that we used dahlias, calla lillies, fiddlehead ferns, tulips, curly willows, roses, rannoculous (sp?), hypercium berries, etc.
My bouquet is going to have a very rustic fall feel for August. I'm using rust orange orchids and a similiar deeper tone callalillies. the color may really pop aginst the browns you have planned.
@gvsusara: ok your centerpieces are what I was invisioning and I was having trouble explaining to friends and family. so thanks for the pics
. the are awesome btw.
These are a few from someone else's wedding at my venue that kind of matches your theme..

@bluek:No problem! Thanks for the compliment. Our photographer was amazing :)

I'm trying to plan a "fall themed" wedding and my main colors are dark brown (espresso to be exact) and oranges and reds and yellows.
Are there any brown flowers out there besides sunflowers? I told my florist NO sunflowers at all. I don't know why, but when I think of sunflowers, I think of summer..
Any ideas/pictures will help!
