Here are the center pieces I made for my October 2012 Wedding. I bought the glass vases at the Dollar Tree and the lighted bases were from the dollar store as well (they go to those laser cut crystal cubes that have an image etched into them. I bought all the bases without the cubes :p) I glued the vase to the base, then hid the base with moss. I put a sprig of artificial leaves in the vase and filled it with water. It really had a pretty effect when it was all lit up. Unfortunatly, my photographer only had a chance to photograph the reception details when all the venue lights were on.

@keevolpi:  I had the same concerns but I did a test run and soaked some of the leaves in water over night with no bleeding. My biggest concern ended up being the tap water at the venue was a bit cloudy (eeew). Luckily it settled before the reception began.
