    Hi Fall Brides!

    What are your wedding colors?

Although I love the traditional fall colors, I'm going with Gunmetal Grey, Raspberry and accents of lighter pinks. The guys are in black tuxes with possibly grey/pewter vests and the bridesmaids in grey/pewter. It's black tie so I'm trying to keep it formal.

    Please share your colors!

The Raspberry and gunmetal sounds beautiful! I would definitely stick with black ties and vests for your guys!

Mine are Navy, light pink and Fuschia and the men will be in Black tuxes with black vests and ties. My BM will be in Navy dresses.

@PinkPinstripes: Your colours sound amazing ! I was an October bride but changed the date and kept my colours. Navy and pops of orange ! FMIL wasn't impressed, lol.

@PinkPinstripes: your colors are stunning. I love the Gunmetal, Rasberry, softer pinks. It sounds perfect for a fall formal celebration.

I am marrying on Halloween and having a formal wedding as well. I have a lot of colors, haahaahaa - -

    • Gunmetal - BM's are wearing slate Twobirds dresses
    • Eggplant - FH and GM's are wearing eggplant ties
    • Copper - all linens and paper
    • Champagne - linens and paper
    • Vintage blue/Golds - soft accent colors

@PinkPinstripes: My bm's love them - - when they had the samples on we learned how to tie/wrap them in all different ways. Their Slate color has undertones of purple (making it more of a gunmetal, yumm) which was a huge bonus for me. We got the floor ball gown length and then for my Jr bm we got the tea length. She is 12 and it fits her perfectly - I was thrilled. Their Jr bm dress is more like a flower girl dress. So its nice b/c my niece (jr bm) will honestly be able to wear this dress for years, LOL

I love the gunmetal and Raspberry colors!

We are the end of September and I wanted Wine and Ivory and my BMs vetoed that and went with Cherry RED and Ivory.   It's cool.   My FMIL thinks it is horrible and that if we wanted REd and Ivory that we should have had a Dec. or Feb. wedding.   Eh... She'll get over it.    She doesn't know my dress is Champagne yet either.   She just might walk out of the church!

@PinkPinstripes: That color combo sounds awesome!

Ours are chocolate, champagne and blush pink. I toned down my colors after reading too many bridal mags and getting overwhelmed by color haha

I know this sounds crazy, but it's really very pretty. Our primary colors are peach, ivory, and antique gold with accents of orange, rust, copper, and coral pinks.

We're going with our favorite colors... We're going with Ivory and brown with accents of pink, green and blue....  It doesn't sound very pretty, but in my head it looks gorgeous.

Hey gals... So I've only been engaged a week... but we have a tentative date set for 11.12.2011 (since we're Army, more of our military friends will be able to attend)

Got a toughie for you... is there any way to do a green white & red color palette without it looking like we're throwing a $15,000 Christmas party a month or so early?!

I was considering poppies with those colors... maybe add some black accents in the mix. But do you think poppies is a bit overdone, or is it still an interesting theme idea? Maybe it's just seems overdone (albeit amazingly beautiful!) to me because I've been stalking wedding blogs secretly for over 2 years before the engagement?!!!

What do you think I can do to lessen the tack-factor and bump up the class without bumping the cost as well?

Chocolate and champagne with apple green accents.

@Bowden2Be - I think that if you lightened the green (not a christmas green but perhaps a leaf green or apple?) then it wouldn't seem like christmas and would look really cute with poppies....and I love the idea of poppies around Rememberance Day (...or Veterans Day down there :D )

Our colors are Navy and Curry Yellow. Our two favorite colors. We have having a brunch reception, so we felt we didn't have to go with "traditional fall colors".

ohhh I love all of these colors!!

For our ceremony we are going with whites and ivories. Then for the reception we will be using eggplant, gold, and ivory.  The flowers will be fall colors, reds, yellows, and oranges.  Since our wedding is on the first day of fall we wanted to go with the idea of summer and brightness with the ceremony, then "welcoming" fall in with the reception colors.

We are looking at beginning of November, and I love the look of dark purple and silver and I think that's the way we will be going.  It's dark enough for fall but I think it's slightly unexpected (at least in New England where brown and orange prevail in the fall weddings!)

I haven't decided on the shades yet but thinking dark purple and maybe a sage green.  I'm thinking of adding lavendar or a blue in there two.  Basically, I'm determined to have hydrangeas and am working around those colors.

Our colors are olive green (like David's Bridal olivine), metallic gold, and orange, and we have some brown and ivory in there as well to soften it.

Ooooo!  It sounds like there will be lots of super nice color combos!  Our colors aren't really fall per se...it's silly and dorky, but they're sort of "our colors"...the colors that were our favorite for awhile and we have a lot of things in that color...

Anywho, it'll be maroon (for the bride side) turquoise (for the groom side) and black...black tuxes, shoes, etc.

I think that fall didn't influence the color scheme...but maroon can be fall-ey.  :-)  why not.
