@RedRose1979: High 60’s to mid 70’s. But that doesn’t matter. I lived in FL for 12 years and it was 100 degrees in Sept/Oct. I still had my fall and Christmas stuff out!

I was born and raised in South Jersey. We always decorated for fall inside our house in September. In late September (around the autumnal equinox – 21st or 22nd), we’d usually put a fall wreath on our front door as well as some pumpkins and mums around the outside of the house, and in the first week or so of October we’d decorate for Halloween. Hope this helps!

lol. I don’t think there is a correct answer 🙂
Do it when you want and when you have time 😀

@RedRose1979:  here’s my house! There’s a ghost and a scarecrow standing on the porch and “trick or treat” window gummies on the front door. I switched our porch lights to orange bulbs too. This has all been up for a week. I love Halloween and want my full two months!

I usually skip anything for Fall, as I’m not a fan of haybales,mums and scarecrows anyway. We plunge right into Halloween in our area, and decorations are usually up for the month.

I was actually wondering the same thing when I noticed a bunch of fall decor at the store today. I usually put up all of our autumn/halloween stuff Oct. 1

I’m in NJ!!  Indoors I usually do end of Sept, so I will probably do that next weekend, and outside I start the weekend around Oct 1st, whether before or after.

I will start putting stuff up inside next weekend.  For some reason, this weekend just felt to early.  I will probably wait until Oct to put stuff up outside.

@RedRose1979:

I live in rural Michigan where the chilly whether usually begins around mid September.

I started pulling out my fall decor on September 1st (my husband & I agree that autumn is Sept-Nov).

I don’t decorate outside because I live in an apartment that isn’t visable to the road. But, if I did, I would probably start decoring around mid September. I don’t see the point in only getting one months use out of them a year.

Here is one of my halloween setups this year 🙂
