I should caveat this by saying I like in Boston...so fall is sorta almost winter!

We'll be freezing but still want to look nice. Ideas? My style is preppyish.

Links to your own fall shoots?

    Thank you!!

What ejs said- Some kick butt boots! And a super cute skirt... maybe a pea coat if it's super cold like it is here. And a cute scarf!

No links yet, but we took our pictures on Monday, and I wore an adorable grey wool sweater for the indoor pictures and a great peacoat for outside. A scarf or cute boots would be great as well! I would recommend pants, if only for the larger variety of poses you'll be able to do if you're not worrying about your skirt flying up in the wind.

We're taking ours soon and I'm thinking a long sleeve shirt with a scarf and some fun knee socks :)

Being chilly is all the more reason to snuggle closer, but you may want to bring coats as a back up.  Who knows, maybe you'll like the look of the coats too!

umm...if it will be anything like today...you will freeze in a skirt.

I say some really cute jeans with boots, long sleeved colorful top (maybe in like a green, or orange...some fall related color), and yes a scarf..and maybe a cute hat?

We are in the capital region of NY and are scheduled to have out e-photos on Saturday if we do not get rain/snowed out :( I posted a similar post a few days ago about what to wear and here is what I came up with for some sweater dresses that might look cute. The one that is short sleeve you can even wear a black shirt underneath and the leggins I got were very thick and should be warm. Hope this helps...we might be getting our photos pushed back until mid november :(

Good luck and post your photos once you get them!!!!

jcrew has some really great, preppy fall dresses.  I might do with something like that & then also have another outfit with jeans, boots & a great jacket!

Wear what you feel comfortable the most in. When you wear something that is "you" it will be the best outfit out of them all. Good luck! & have fun!

I am getting mine done on Sunday and I am freaking out about what to wear! It's sooo cold here woke up to snow yesterday morning!

I think I want to buy a peacoat with some colour or grey and wear it with tights and boots or a dress under with boots!

i feel like I left it too late - I hate being stressed I have to get my eyebrows waxed too!

We just did our photos today..... very lucky the weather held out for us! It was awesome, our photographer took over 1,200 photos!! I didn't even end up wearing the sweater dress I bought!!! I ended up with an autumn orange shirt with jeans and boots!! It was chilly but I had a 2 coats and a long sweater cardigan/jacket that I changed between some of the photos to change it up a bit and some I did without the coat and bit the bullet... :) ur photos turned out great and we had a blast with our photographer! I am waiting to get the photos and can't wait.

Either way, you will be fine and whatever you wear will be great!!!

Ours are tomorrow!  I am so excited!

I am wearing a dress with tights and knee boots, and I have a longish wool coat if it's cold.

Boots can look really great (I am thinking sleek black ones for an urban setting, flat brown ones for a more natury setting...)... Light coloured sweaters/wool can look very nice for some cozy hug shots :-))... but whatever you do, just make sure to wear something you like and  feel comfortable in... (the more comfortable you are the more relaxed and happy you will look)...Tomorrow I am doing a Halloween e-shoot, so clothing could be interesting! Best of luck and have fun!!!
