When I think of Fall, I think of the orange/yellowish trees outside. Maybe you can somehow incorporate those in there?
@babycakes: I agree with Ugoob, I think more of oranges and yellows for a fall wedding.
What about jewel tones? Oranges and yellows are nice, but I feel like everybody uses those for fall weddings.
I don't think I'll be much help as far as your colors are concerned but we are having a full fledged fall themed wedding.
This is our color palette...

and inspiration board...

I love the idea! I am getting married in October, and my colors are burgundy, plum, eggplant, and aubergine (below picture are all of the colors that are being incorporated). When I first started planning, I was going for more red orange tones because that is what most people think of when they hear of a fall wedding. I However, I decided to go in this direction because I think it's bold/ daring, and not a lot of people do it. it's still fall, and it's a color that goes with anything, Don't stress, your are on the right path, go with your instincts.
"Waves2" - I love your oclour palette! It's totally in line with mine!
So...have you thought what your going to do with your table decor??
Table arrangements
5X8 vase with red ti leaves within concealing stem- lines the inside of the vase. The ti leaves have some green in them
Burgundy-green ivory pee gee hydrangea
Burgundy plum dahlia (my favorite!)
black bacarra roses
burgundy yarrow
burguny green foliage
Table cloths were orginally going to be ivory, with a burgundy runner, but my florist told me that the runners would look like stripes on a table, and to go at least 3 shades dark (light-medium brown). It sounds like a lot of red, but the way he explained how he was going to arrange the flowers, it is going to look very pretty. I can't wait!
My wedding is September 17, 2011 too! We are having a fall/nature-themed wedding. Our main colors are deep red and dark brown and then I'll throw in golden yellow, burnt orange, and green for punches of color. I still don't know exactly how I will incorporate everything together, but I think piece by piece, it will fall in place.
I know it's been a while since the main post but i love talking about colors! I would add a blue to burgundy. It's not seen very often but it adds a unique touch.

Ours is the first day of fall, september 23, and ours are jewel tones...plum, burndt orange, fushia and touches of apple green.
i think it is very fall like. I saw this pallette which is a little more red than burgundy, but it has the same feel, I think, for fall.

Hey Everyone,
I'm getting married Sept 17, 2011 and I am struggling with the colours for the decor.
My dress is Alabaster (ivory) and my Bridesmaids I would like to be in Charcoal Grey with Burgundy/Maroon/Wine coloured flowers (see attached for a colour palette).
I also attached a picture of our hall (ignore the decor in the picture)... very high ceilings, light wood floors, darker accents of wood on wall (kind of barn like).
Now, I don't want to decorate the hall in super LIGHT colours (but I do want there to some light elements).
I like BOLD colours, but I still want to hall to have a "wedding" feel - so I don't want everything to be dark. I love the look of the attached, but will that go with my Charcoal Grey BM dresses???
Basically...want a fall theme
Work with... Charcoal, Burgundy, FALL
HELP!!!!
