Here's a thread you may find helpful: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/fall-colours
And some pics that I like personally :)

@hollyberry4: Thank you for the inspiration boards! I have looked at several I just don't know how to use them. lol Funny I know. I just see colors I just don't get what to use them on lol.
I am doing dark purple and bright green like this,

But if you like red and purple--put them together! I LOVE purple and red together

@kes18: Both of those are beautiful! I really like the purple and red! Thank you!
@jacjar13: welcome! If you're struggling with colors, check out websites like http://www.theperfectpalette.com/. So many combinations and ideas! Good luck!
We are doing Scarlet reds and pumpkin and rust orange with some tan thrown in.
Thank you ladies for responding to my post! After looking at all of your responses to my post(which were beautiful), I think I have decided to use orange and red with accents of plum(eggplant) and brown(taupe)! What do you ladies think? Inspiration please?
@jacjar13: I love that color combo! I think it will look beautiful =)
@jacjar13: I think it will look beautiful! Fall colors are so much fun (IMO). Google weddings with those colors and I'm sure you'll find a ton of ideas to use.
@Brideonabudgetlauren: Thank you! I hope it turns out beautiful!
@NurseMandie: Thank you! And I'm going to try and get started on an inspiration board!
I'm doing dark purple, black and silver for my winter wedding, could be used for fall wedding as well.
@jacjar13: Just thought I'd let you know that we are date twins! I'm also doing a fall theme and as of now my main colors are purple and orange, but will include the reds and golds in there as well.
I'm not sure it qualifies as a crisis. I know it seems like one now, but you really do still have awhile to think about it. What if you picked one color now, and then tried to see how you felt about adding others to it later? That way, you can start getting things done, but you don't have to make every decision right now. For example, if you picked red, you wouldn't have to decide whether to put purple and magenta with it or brown and orange with it, or black and white with it, until down the road. But if you start getting red textiles they will for sure match no matter what, as long as you choose a pretty standard shade of red.
If that's a crisis, you're in for a hell of a time with the rest of your planning...
We are also having a fall themed wedding. Im not a huge fan of the oranges etc - we are just sticking to darker colors for the flowers - dark red and plum roses with some cream and ivory and alot of greenery. Our tableclothes will be a very light gold and our bridesmaids are wearing a mocha colour :)
@Mishagirls79: Those colors are very beautiful, From what I hear anyway. I attended a friends wedding and it was very beautiful.
@Mrs. Packer: That is so awesome! Don't you just love the fall colors. I love everything about fall.
@MeeShell: Thats sounds beautiful! I hope all turns out well
@Effie Trinket& @ White wedding: I'm not 100% sure on how to take your comments. Its really hard for me to choose colors because I'm partially blind in one eye and color blind in the other, so I don't see colors that well and its hard for me to see if it will match so my guests don't think I'm a total spaz for choosing crazy colors. So in my case color choosing is a crisis. But thank you for commenting.
It would be a good idea to explain the vision limitations in the original post, so the rest of us can better understand what kind of help you're looking for. Otherwise, "I can't make up my mind about colors for a wedding that's almost a year away = CRISIS" does seem a little overly dramatic.
This might also be a good thing to ask your FI for help on. I know that not every guy has the best radar for matching/complementary colors, but if he at least has normal color vision it would be good for him to get into the habit of helping you in this area.
@KCKnd2: +1
Your original post sounded a little bridezilla in the making. But now it makes sense that you are worried and stressing out. For what it's worth, my wedding last fall was black, white, and blue, so I completely ignored fall colors. Go with what you like, I'm sure no one at my wedding could even tell you what color the tablecloths were. Also, I like the suggestion of asking your FI if he is at all interested in the wedding planning.
Here are photos from my brother and SILs wedding. It was 10-30-10. Sorry 2 of them are mobil uploads. The color was purple but it was also about jewel tones, with the reds and greens. And there was a bit of gold.

Here is an example of the smaller center piece. Clearly this was taken at my house after the wedding.

And here are my bridesmaid flowers and one of their table numbers again taken at home after the wedding. Sorry about the random stuff in the background.

Hello Bees,
I'm new to the hive! I am also getting married in October of 2013, and I am having a hard time picking colors. I want a fall theme, I also like the fall colors. I'm more drawn to the burgundy and aubergine and well you get what I'm saying. So can anyone help me please lol?
