alot of girls have similar styles. I actually think you could get that dress to look a little differant, sash from etsy. com differant veil.. differant accessories. that dress will look like yours in no time. I would just check with her if she mind you wearing something similar 9 months later. Least shes going first.

aw what a shame, really, that can’t be pleasant.  Thing is though, new collections are coming out all the time and the chances are the designer will make something very similar if not better next time round.

Good luck with it hun x Hope you find something amazing x

I just wanted to say I love those Amanda Wakeley dresses! I guess they are only available in the UK, but if I had run across them I definitely would have bought one too.

They have several drapey Grecian styles. Hopefully you will fall in love with another one.

I completely understand your distress over this. I do agree that it does feel weird for your futher husband to see a dress that you picked out, but seeing it on another girl. Since you already bought the dress, and now your thinking of not wearing it, maybe you can sell the dress. I know this hurts because you’re in love with this dress and you can’t see yourself letting it go, but if you really really have a problem with this situation, than I would say to go get another dress. There are tons of dresses out there with new styles coming out. Who knows? You might fall in love with another dress out there. I hope it all works out for you. Best of luck to ya!

You are way to good of a friend. I would have flipped out- especially if I HAD THE DRESS FIRST. Like how rude of her.

You are such a great friend! You have a few months to find another dress. Perhaps another one by the same designer? Fingers crossed for you. You have good karma now.

It is beautiful, but not meant to be. I know that you will find one that is more amazing than that one. It is not your dress… your dress is still out there! 🙂
