@yehyehgirl:  Curl lashes if needed, apply false lashes, then liner, then mascara sparingly, usually just to blend falsies with naturals.

@yehyehgirl:  I have blonde eyelashes so I have to wear mascara or I look like cruella deville!

I apply shadow and liner and then I apply a strip of fake lashes (I like Ardel) and then I put on mascara on the bottom of my lashes since they tops are covered with fake ones.

If I put on mascara first my eyelashes curl upwards and makes it dang near impossible to apply the fake ones.

@Future_Mrs_Dr_I:  I’m going to try it your way tomorrow and see what happens!  I’m self taught!

I put the lashes on after shadow, then blended with eyeliner on top – did not need mascara.  I used the Katy Perry Oh Honey kind.

Base, shadow, liner, lashes, then mascara at the base to blend with your natural ones.

@sugar_biscuit:  Good luck! It takes practice. Remember to hold the lashes for about 30 seconds after applying glue before putting them on. The reason I do liner after lashes are applied, is because the liner can sometimes cause the lashes to not adhere as well. Plus I find it easier to make a straight line when lashes are on, they sort of provide a guideline.

@mrs_pudding_pop:  Katy Perry’s eyelashes are called Oh Honey? Like the How I Met Your Mother character she played? That is awesome.

@yehyehgirl:  Lol, YAY!!! Remember you can trim them, too. Trim from the outer edge before applying glue.

Mascara helps them blend in better. If you are having trouble with application look up some YouTube videos! There are a few different techniques and lots of tips that will help you 🙂

For me, looking DOWN in the mirror so I can see my full lash line and holding my mouth open (so I won’t blink) works best. Also start by putting the lash in the middle and tuck the sides in. Use DUO lash adhesive and make sure to wait the 30 seconds until it’s tacky!

@yehyehgirl:  yes! But mascara on before the false eyelashes and it will help theM stick. Then apply again after applying the false eyelashes

I do eyeliner and mascara first.  Then apply the eyelashes.  Then touch up the eyeliner to blend with the lash strip.

If you do mascara after applying the lashes you get all mascara over your false lashes , and they typically don’t need mascara, and it’s a pain to clean them, or they just get crudded up.

It also helps if you curl your lashes first.  Then after everything is applied and the glue is pretty set, kind of press your lashes and the false lashes together.  It intermingles the lashes and helps them look better.
