Holiday party on Saturday and I really wanted to blow up my eyes. 🙂 Kapow!!!
Only had falsies for my wedding and they were applied by my makeup artist. Full-on glue and they lasted a while.
I don’t need anything as nice for Saturday night, but need recommendations. I’m looking for something I can get at CVS or Target – nothing too expensive or complicated.
Most likely, I’ll need to practice putting them on to get it right, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. And if you have pics on your eyelashes that you did yourself, please share them. I need some encouragement. 🙂

Ardell/Red Cherry lashes are good & cheap, and you can find them at CVS! there are lots of tutorials online, here’s a good one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyIER9a2BHA

@baileyjosephine: Thank you for the suggestion. I’ll certainly see if I can find that brand. I always forget about youtube as a resource. I’ll check out the video as well.

@HereWeGo: If you live near an Ulta….they’ll help you pick out a pair and apply them for you. Talking someone through false eyelash application is only slightly less complicated than talking someone through diffusing a bomb…plus its your EYE!

Ardell or Salon Perfect lashes are at CVS or Walmart or Sally Beauty Supply, etc. Very cheap and pretty! I recommend the Demi Whispies. Duo or Revlon Lash adhesive are both really good.
And look up ways to apply on YouTube – the key is to just make sure to let the glue dry on the lash for a full minute before putting on your eye, don’t get impatient! It won’t slide around once you put it on your eye if the glue is already partially dried.
Good luck and have fun!

My favorite is Quo lashes. I have those and Ardell demi wispies and I prefer Quo. I am going to do my own wedding makeup so I stocked up and practice practice practice! I wore the Quo half lashes for our Christmas party this year and loved it.

I don’t know them by name, but everytime I want to use them, my husband puts them on for me. I have so much trouble doing it. Have someone put them on for you.
