- Wedding: March 2013
Most weddings I have been to have a father/daughter dance and mother/son dance…..well my dad passed away last year and we postponed the wedding..now we are going ahead with it on march.9th…i would prefer to skip this so theres no meltdowns and awkwardness with me or mom as it would be quite an emotional moment. Do u think its fair that we just cut it all out completely or is there something else we can as a general family dance that would make everyone feel a little more comfortable and not be reminded dad is not there…who would/could dance with who….by the way no one is giving me away as such….i dont want his brothrs to fill in..my 2 sons 9 and 11 can walk with me in church…..but just wondering whats typcial of a situation like that or a nice idea to include people with making an akward moment out of it…thanks!!
