So I have a family friend who is the designated chef for special events around our house (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.). She is amazing!
I’ve decided I want her to do my wedding food, as she won’t charge me, and she’s really excited to do it. My wedding is going to be at my parent’s home.
We’re either going to do buffet or family style for 150 people. Which would work better, do you think? We’re going to have long rectangular tables with 10 people each, so I’m wondering if the platters will work on the table, and if it’ll just be easier to do buffet?
Also, what do you think i should budget for food? I thought about looking at getting food bulk at Costco, but I’m wondering if there’s a better way? The food will be pretty gourmet (I know she can handle the recipes!), so I know the food won’t be cheap. But i’m just wondering what the best way is to go about this.
