Weddingbee boards

I just typed this all in a post and then it told me my title was too long and the whole post was gone lol. So now, I'm just going to give the super short version.

FI's family and my family didn't know that we don't believe in god. It's pretty obvious because we refused to have their minister marry us or have anything religious in the ceremony. FI's dad (super laidback guy) called him and they were talking and he asked why we don't want to use their minister to marry us and FI told him we don't want anything religious or anything about god mentioned at all in the ceremony because to us a marriage is about an agreement between the couple and the state and religion plays no part in it. His dad said 'oh, I was just wondering, I didn't know if you were like a god hater or something or if you don't believe in god' and FI just gave him a simple 'well, no I don't.' He asked why and FI told him it just doesn't make sense to him and he's doing good without it so there's no point. Then they moved on to talking about the super bowl, haha.

So I guess that's over and done with and we don't have to hide it from them anymore. I'm glad his dad was the one who asked him because like I said, he's super laidback and isn't the type to make a huge deal about it. :)

I also wanted to share this article, it's about Daniel Radcliffe and politics. He says he's an atheist in it, which I thought was pretty cool.
