- Wedding: October 2010
We want at least one or two “posed” family photos with all of our aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. But we don’t want to do them at the church – we want to do them at our reception site, which is an antique auto museum, and a way cooler setting. The problem is, our guests will go to the museum for cocktail before we arrive, and we don’t want to have to chase people down for the photo. We need a way to notify them about when and where to meet us for the family photo. I thought about having the wedding party do it as they are herding people out of the church, but only my sister would know my family to notify them…it seems a bit complicated. I also thought that Fiance and I could do it as we’re dismissing people from their pews, but Fiance pointed out that we’ll be so overwhelmed that we’ll probably forget. The only thing I can think of is to put something in the program, but they’re already printed and assembled, and they’re fans, so it’s not like we can just tuck a little piece of paper inside (like in Broadway playbills). I am thinking of glueing something to the back of the program (in a different type of paper, like vellum) but I’m not sure how that’ll look. Or just having the groomsmen hand guests a piece of paper with the program, but I don’t want to drive the Groomsmen crazy. Any grand ideas, hive??
