I gave in a couple of days ago actually! haha. You have more self-control than me. My hair had gotten to my waist, but it’s blonde and fine and it just felt too tangly and hot and itchy and I just couldn’t take it anymore! So I cut off about 5 inches. Not as much as I really want, but still. Now it goes to my boobs. I figure that’s still plenty of hair to work with!

@sara_tiara:  I so want to cut my hair.  I’ve been growing it out for a year and it is just above my waist now which is too long for normal every day for me.  However, my FI made me promise that I wouldn’t do the thing that a lot of brides seem to do which is cut all my hair off after the wedding.  Lol.  He said he thinks that’s a bait and switch.  You marry this girl with beautiful long hair and after the honeymoon she transforms into “soccer mom”.  Not that I think that of your inspiration pic (I love it!) lol.  My FI just equates cutting hair after the wedding with turning into an old, married housewife.

I cut my hair after the wedding, not too much, but definitely freshened it up. I just can’t stand split ends, they are my nemesis!

I’ve been thinking about a chop! I’m not sure though, I really like my hair long. I think it just needs a better cut so it’s more manageable. I hope you find a good hairstyle!

I find long hair more managable because you can put it into a braid, or pony and make it look cute, and put together. I find that with short hair I have to curl it or straighten it, or put a million boby bins in to hold it in place.

ahhh yes! I love my long hair but its summer and its TOO HOT to do anything with it but throw it up and off my skin!

I too have been longing for a sweet short cut but love the sexy femme feel of long locks ((and so does FI hehe)) so I’m not sure I’ll have the guts…

UNTIL I HAVE KIDS!

I am a nanny and KNOW babies just LOVE pulling hair…

that is when I’m defo going short Wink

@sara_tiara:  Lol!  I think I should! FI and I would have matching cue ball heads!  LOL!

@Cash000 – I actually agree with you.  My hair is more versatile and easy to style when I have some length.  If I go too short or do a style that requires a lot of maintenance I run into a lot of issues.  It’s great to be able to throw it in a nice pony and go.

Haha! I’m dreaming of the opposite – I want longer hair!

I’ve been growing it out for about 9 or 10 months and it is long, but I want it about 3 inches longer. This is unusual for me b/c I like my hair shorter, but I go through phases and right now am liking the wavy look & feel it only looks right on me with longer hair.

Here is my hair now:

Here is where I want it:
