We are renovating our house. I spend way more time thinking about/worrying about that. But this past month, I have pretty much been devoted to the wedding.
I wouldn't worry. After you pick your venue and book the vendors, there really isn't anything to do for a while. It's a good thing you have a life outside of wedding planning. To do nothing but plan a wedding nonstop for six months would be incredibly unhealthy.
I've been neglecting my FF team! I'm playing with my FI this year & I love it... it's SO much fun, but I've been slacking lol.
Today he had to walk me through dropping players & picking up free agents because 4 of my players aren't playing this weekend. Blah. It was stressful...
Next season I'll be able to put all my energy into it. haha my FI says he's never found me more attractive than when I speak "football" to him. It gets his heart beating faster than if I walked around the house with only a smile on!
lol I'm still all about wedding stuff but my guy is into Fantasy football. We share a computer and any time I open it up thinking its an ideal time to get on the boards, he says uh, when you are done with that I need to check something, or, uh before you do something I just need to look at some stuff. Always ff. always.
@GaBGal: During the off season, my FI plays some fantasy basketball thing... he has to recruit teams, etc. This guy will set his alarm for 1am recruiting. Year round I have to deal with his Fantasy sports obsession... *sigh*
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. I like to think the only reason he's so into it is because his FI is 3000 miles away. He lightens up on it when we're together :) lol
How are your FF teams doing? I'm going to lose this week, but that takes me to 5-1, still in first place overall in our league.
I devot a lot of time to my FF teams. I'm in two different leagues. I'm in first place in one league (5-1) and 7/10 in my other league (2-4). My other team is starting to look better. I have two straight wins after getting some free agents. I had 3 people on my team injured the first week. Boo.

Since football season has started, I have found myself procrastinating with wedding planning and more focused on my football fantasy team. Not good.
I was wondering if any of you have a different obsession or am I the only one who doesn't want to plan 24-7, and how much time a week do you spend planning/researching for your wedding? How do you get yourself pumped up to plan?
