Hey has anyone been married here or went to a wedding here? Any reviews? This is my venue that I have semi-booked but I am not "sold" yet just because my date was already booked and I would either have to change the date or do a morning wedding.

I've never been to a wedding at The Farmington Club. My former employer used to host our annual summer picnic there every year. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the staff was fantastic. The food was typical picnic food so I can't speak to what their wedding food is like. I do know that the same people that own the Farmington Club own Aqua Turf in Plantsville. Most brides seem very happy with the food and service at Awua Turf. The only complaint I've ever heard is that there are multiple weddings at one time at Aqua Turf but that shouldn't be a problem at Farmington Club.

We toured this venue and quite liked it but it wouldn't work out for us on our date. The Farmington Club does multiple weddings at a time, though everything is seperate so you wouldn't see any one else. My precaution to you would be that the grounds got flooded this past spring when all the snow melted so you may want to ask them what their plans are in those scenarios as I know they hold their ceremonies outdoors usually. Otherwise, it is a very nice place and the food I've heard is good!

I booked the venue months ago- my wedding will be the only one and so they are letting me use one room for the ceremony and the bigger room for my reception, just charged me extra to use the smaller room. They are very reasonable price wise and very accomodating.

I have a bridal show and a bride/groom food tasting at the Aqua Turf next month since the Aqua Turf is much bigger. I didn't know they offered that. Should be fun!

@armychica06:  We're having our wedding at the Farmington Club in May - we'll be at that tasting tomorrow night too.  I heard it's a lot of fun!

@maybride12:  Yeah- I loved the tasting. I went in January with my fiance. Filled up on food but saved enough room for the dessert- I am sooooooooooooo excited. Can not wait to get married!
