I’m a size 12/14 in jeans and a Large in tops. I’m 5’0 so those measurements make me pretty curvy 🙂 I am losing weight, but I want to dress for the body I have rather than what I might have.
So, I can wear a size 12 in stretch anything, and 14 is comfortable. I don’t know what the difference is in high rise, low rise, regular; For someone of my size with a tummy, what’s the best rise to go for? I don’t want to look like an old lady with my pants pulled up to my belly button or a 16 year old with my butt crack hanging out. Ugh I hate buying online, but this store only sells my size online.
Anyone have experience in this? I’ll be adding to this post alot, I’m looking for engagement photo outfits as well as more work clothes.

@Girasole: I’m a little smaller than you, but I prefer to wear mid rise or sometimes high rise (they’re kind of in fashion right now). I avoid low-rise like the plague. At 27, that ship sailed a good 9-10 years ago. I always think of low rise jeans as the way you end up seeing a girl’s crack when she’s sitting in a chair. I also feel like it would give me a huge muffin top when I don’t have one otherwise.
