Ok, just doing a little google research, how like the shoes you liked do you want them? I found these. They look fairly similar to the ones in your blog post.
I also found these on ebay. Or these. These have a little pizzazz to them. I found these on ebay too. And these have lots of shiny!

I tried on some Louboutins in paris on our honeymoon. I desperately wanted to have some for the wedding, but I wanted purple heels and i couldn't find any loubies in purple. Also, they were out of my price range. I ended up wearing some purple heels I already had--they don't make theim any more. :-(

this is a crappy photo, i dont have my camera cord here with me to show you the pics I took in these because they are GORGEOUS. They are at the flagship store and I havent seen them anywhere since. maybe they'll be at Nordstrom or something sometime soon--some of the others I saw in Paris are there now. These are called the Anemone Feather Pump. They come in other colors. Without the feather-- just the ribbon, they come in purple as well, and you can find those. I doubt they are comfortable for a wedding... but if i'd found them before mine i would have seriously thought about it!

Also, the wedding shoes might be dyeable, they are gorgeous.
I got my Manolo's at Bergdorf's in NYC - but they literally came in EVERY color! Even multicolored with purple. I would peruse the website, but also call someone directly to ask about it. I can dig up my shoe lady's contact info if you want too!
I did a lot of online shopping before going to the stores and found what they actually CARRIED was SO different from what you could see on the website. Bergdorf's has the 'carrie bradshaw' silver monolo's in every color of the rainbow, including 2 shades of blue. I was shocked!
@cola = I am currently on a very similar quest. Thus far I have learned the shoes in the stores have been much better than the shoes offered on line. Are you able to hit Neimans, Barneys, Saks, Bloomingdales!?!?!? Another idea would be to call some funky shoe boutiques & share your heel vision with them: Fred Segal Feet in Los Angeles or Kitson in Los Angeles......

Love the Manolo D'Orsays... I have a pair a couple seasons old in silver, and they are to die for. I was the only one still wearing my shoes at the end of FSIL's wedding (I was a BM) sometimes quality really does count! And they were hands down the most gorgeous shoes there.

The purple is actually a bit brighter in person, the photo makes it look black. In reality it's a more aubergine color. I don't think these have the pizzaz you're looking for, but maybe you could spice them up?

Happy Friday everyone!
Some lovely members of the hive are helping me look for awesome/amazing/funky purple heels over in my blog post comments, so I thought I'd reach out to you wonderful board bees as well! I feel like I've looked everywhere, and I've yet to find those perfect, unique, fabulous purple shoes.
Please help me find jaw dropping, jump up and down, shout out loud, amazing purple shoes to wear in my wedding! At this point, I'm not very concerned with the price, but they have to be available in a size 6-7, and not suede or velvet.
I love you all for helping me!!!!
