@Dallas2014:  Keep in mind that you do to have to dance to an entire song. You can have your DJ put together a medley of songs that includes a dance for the bride and groom, a short song for you and your father, a song for the groom and his Mom, then back together as a couple.

My sister and dad are close, but didn’t have a father-daughter dance because they didn’t want to. Her husband had a mother-son and grandmother-grandson dance. It may have seemed a little awkward, but it’s what they wanted.

Wonderful world? Super short, neutral, beautiful song

@CountryRose:  This is what I was going to suggest, something classic and used, but still lovely. Or Sinatra’s Way you look tonight. Or even something short and innocent, like “when you wish upon a star” or “somewhere over the rainbow”

@Dallas2014:  I went to a wedding for a family member who has just about the worst dad ever, he was terrible to her and her mother and we all knew it.  She danced with him to “Butterfly Kisses,” several people looked like they wanted to throw up.  No harm in skipping the dance!

I was going to suggest the Iz version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”–it’s beautiful, and not too daddy’s girl. Otherwise you could do:

– I Hope You Dance – Leann Womack

– Smile – Nat King Cole

– Isn’t She Lovely by Stevie Wonder

– Stand By Me by Ben E. King

– Unforgettable by Nat and Natalie Cole

And of course, as PPs said…”The Way You Look Tonight” or “Wonderful World” would be great, too!

You could also do “My Girl”–but that might border on the too daddy’s girl.
