So as my father got married and divorced a million times, my mother was married twice and engaged again. I want to incorporate all three into the father daughter dance traditions buuuuut……….
My Fiance feels as if my dad doesn’t approve of him (although he does), and my dad (biological) isn’t helping pay for anything and is saying we’re too young to be married. Fiance and I will both be 23 when we marry. Money isn’t an issue so I don’t care if he’s not helping pay, but he didn’t even offer. Whatever! So even though he won’t be giving me away, I still want to give him a father daughter dance opportunity.
My mom’s second husband will be giving me away. He’s not helping us pay for anything but he came to see me before I bought my dress and he teared up a little bit as much as he won’t admit it. I feel as if he has been far more supportive so I want him giving me away, and he’ll have a father daughter dance as well.
Then there’s my mom’s current fiancé, and he’s one of the sweetest men I know. He’s kind of judging us getting married young but at the same time, he’s supporting it. I want to give him a father daughter dance too.
BUT is that doing the most- three father daughter dances? It’s just making me feel horrible if I don’t give one or another the dance.
Please don’t judge and thanks in advance!
