aw, thats so cute your dad had his own request!! my father means the world to me, we have a fabulous relationship, so he is gonna be a big mushball on my wedding day he has already warned me!! so his one request was no song that was gonna make him bawl on the dance floor...so we are going with Frank Sinatra "The Way You Look Tonight,' which is very fitting for my Italian-Frank Sinatra-lovin family. and we can have some fun dancing and he can show off his dance moves!! its one of the moments i am most looking forward to.
Ours will probably make me cry! But it is a faster song- so we are thinking about doing something like two-step or something instead of something slow. I'm looking forward to it and am very excited
Aw, that's a sweet song! My dad and I danced to "Always in All Ways" by Kenny Rogers. But I listened to "Letting Go" from the musical Jekyll and Hyde the other day and I cried because it was so sweet!
That song is so cute!
I think we are going to dance to "You've got a friend" by James Taylor. My Dad loves James Taylor and I think the lyrics are great for us. He has always been my rock and this song always makes me tear up!

My parents were over tonight and I mentioned the father daughter dance to my dad, thinking he wouldn't care and he said the only song we will dance to is Daddy's Girl by Red Sovine. I didn't know what it was, so I looked it up, it is perfect for us! I'm so excited, and am glad to know that dad had been thinking about it :) Anyway, just curious what songs ya'll are using?
