My father recently passed, so my stepfather who I don’t have the best relationship with is "stepping in" as the father of the bride. We are using "Then They Do" by Trace Adkins

OMG – I love that song!  thanks for posting it – that will be the perfect song for me and my stepfather!  and my name is Brianna – so perfect!

Well, then, it’s perfect for you.  Glad I could help.

I always knew I wanted "Butterfly Kisses" Bob Carlyle for a Father/Daughter dance.  I recognize however that this might not be the best song for the relationship in question.  It’s funny that before I decide on My own first dance song, before anything, that I decided on what to use for father/daughter dance song. Just a thought.

Hmm… I danced with my uncle to "In My Life" by The Beatles.  That might work.

I was going to dance to Butterfly Kisses, but decided I didn’t want the tears. So, we’ll be going with something more upbeat.

Maybe something upbeat, like My Girl…

Have you heard "I Loved Her First" by Heartland? Or "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw? Or "In My Life" by the Beatles? If you go with something really fun and upbeat as someone else suggested, I think "My Girl" is a good option.
