So I need you help Aussie Bees. I am close to my Mum and Dad, as is my FI(not the freaky kind of close though). I would like to do a father-daughter dance with my dad to a song that means a lot to him and I but I am worried this is a more American tradition. Has anyone been to an Australian wedding where the father daughter dance has happened?

I’m planning on doing one – I don’t know how common it is, but I want to dance with my dad at my wedding!

My sister did one, she used that Butterfly Kisses song.
I’m so tragic, but I am dancing with my Dad to a song by Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus, i think it’s called ‘I Learnt from You’. It’s quite sweet and not too soppy.

I think that it’s pretty common here. If you want to do it, just go with it! No one will think it’s weird, you’re dancing with your Dad!
