We chose “In My Life” by the Beatles. It was short, sweet and my dad loves the Beatles. It’s also a little more up beat.

My dad chose his song, it’s Rod Stewart’s “Have I Told You”.

I would ask him what he would like to dance to ๐Ÿ˜‰

If you don’t mind Miley Cyrus, I chose “When I Look at You” for me and my dad. VERY cute!

We’re actually dancing to a Rush song that we’re going to shorten up. LOL! My Dad loves Rush, I think of my Dad when I hear Rush so it only seemed natural! ๐Ÿ™‚

Good luck!!!

My Dad insisted on having the old fashioned ” Daddy’s little girl”. It has been coved a couple of times.

A lot of people like that ” I loved her first” song. But it is a bit sappy, and country. I am not a country fan.

Although people usually use it for mother daughter dance, I think it is beautiful for either. ” In my daughters eyes” by Martina McBride.

My dad and I do not like sappy songs and we really love classic rock and The Allman Brothers are one of our favorite bands so we are dancing to “Soulshine” by them. Not a typical father/daughter dance song but beautiful and meaningful to us ๐Ÿ™‚
